WHY WE DO IT: Well, I (Lauren) started Dream Star Promotion, because ever since I joined the new and improved Greg Raposo Street Team (where participation for promotion is REQUIRED) I noticed that I love to promote and help out artists. I also just love the feeling I get knowing that I'm doing something pretty cool to help support my favorite artitsts..so yeah it makes me feel good :)
NAME MEANING: The way I came up with Dream Star Promotion is this.. One day in class, I was thinking about starting a big promoting site promoting all my favorite artsits, so I was trying to think of a name.. I wanted to do something with the word Dream in it because.. peoples careers start out as dreams first you know? It's just like.. that Dream Street song (haha) called 'Dream On'..you know? It's just, you gotta always dream..everything starts off as a dream, so I wanted that word in the name of the promo site. Star...lol okay well you know how most people are always saying.."Reach for the STARS!" lol well yeah..that's where it came in..and Promotion..well thats a dead give away..hah this is a PROMOTION site so I wanted that word in it! Therefore, came the birth of "DREAM STAR PROMOTION"
