SIAM REAP is one of the 20 provinces in Kingdom of Cambodia located 314 kilometers north of Phom Penh with the total area of 12,015 Km squares, the entire province comprise of 12 districts covering 100 commune and 915 villages of approximately 146,093 families or 788,568 people, more than this Siem Reap province is also known as a historical land for tourist. It is the second poorest province among the 20 provinces of Cambodia based on SEILA1 program and World Food Programme’s report.

ANGKOR CHUM is one of the 12 districts of Siem Reap located about 47 kilometers northwest of Siem Reap town which is about 1 and half hour drive. Angkor Chum comprises of 7 communes, 84 villages with 10,303 families or 55,187 people. The district is known as the 5th poorest among the 12 in Siem Reap based on SEILA program’s report. Most of families (98%) are farmers who grow vegetable, raise pig, and provide labor service which employ by Thailand along Cambodia-Thai broader.
