Well Artemisia is looking kind of worn out inside and out but since Jen and I would like to use her for hanging out and road trips I am going to be fixing her up on the inside a little. She needs new vinyl on the floor, z bed cushions, curtains, and a general sprucing up. I have started by pulling everything out as you can see in the pics. The I cleaned up underneath the wood floor to prevent any of that stuff from making her rust more. I will use the same plywood underneath since it is still good but the plywood the vinyl is on will need to be replaced. I might end up using the old sound deadener stuff since it looks expensive and hard to find what I need but it might be impossible to get off of the plywood. I am thinking I will cover the plywood panels with a blue fabric for some color(plus that stuff is getting kind of worn out over the years) plus I would like some blue and white plaid fabric for the curtains. I think blue or tan for the cushions would be nice too so we will just have to see. The front seats need to be redone but that is a quick fix as long as I come up with the money for padding and covers. |
