The Wooden Dolls
This is the story of two lovers who were separated against their will.
The Story began at a playground where a lonesome boy played alone at the sand box, a girl noticed him and started to ask some questions?
Lyra: Hi! Why are you playing alone don't you have any friends?
Teddy: No! I don't want to play with them anymore?
They just bully me around and take my toys... (looking sad)
Lyra: Don't worry cheer up you can play with me, and I wont take your toys!
Teddy: Really! (smiled a bit)
Time passed by...
Teddy and Lyra grew up together. They went through elementary and
High School together and they became close. real close...
A time came that Teddy declared his love for Lyra...
Teddy: Listen I don't know how to start but please listen!
Lyra: Whoa! what's
with the face your startin' to look like your dad!
Teddy: Laugh if you want, but
I just cant hide how I feel anymore...
Remember when I pushed the boy next door
down your stairway last year?
Lyra: Oh yes I remember! He never came near me
since?
Teddy: Well... the real reason is...
I got jealous because he was gettin' too
friendly with you!
Lyra: What! You? Got jealous?
Teddy: Yes! Its because... I Love You!
Lyra: Its no use hiding it then ( stopped smiling )
Well...To tell you
the truth... I also loved you!
Ever since I saw you at the playground...
They talked all afternoon. About their past and how their love for each other got developed... Ever since that afternoon the two persons who were once friends became lovers and they thought that their love for one another would never end...
Till one day Lyra's father had a new job near the west coast as a coastguard & they had to move near the coast but the night before they move she went to Teddy and told him the whole story. Hearing the news Teddy gave Lyra a wooden doll...
Teddy: Lyra please keep this.
it will remind you of me while were
apart...
I wasn't supposed to give it to you till your coming birthday next
week,
but it seemed like I wont be there on your birthday.
So just keep it,
There's two of it and I'm keeping the other one.
Once we meet and this dolls are
united we shall never more be apart!
Lyra: Oh Teddy Ill miss you! ( she embraced
him tightly )
Teddy: So will I!
The next day Lyra and her family moved near the shore and teddy was left lonely once more. Ever since that night Teddy would pray and wish that they will once again be re-united... Lyra was also feeling the same as teddy, and every night she would hold the wooden doll tightly while crying and wishing that teddy would be at her side...
Then on the night of the crescent moon A giant tidal wave slammed on the west coast wiping out every house. Lyra's family survived but they found no trace of Lyra...
A few days after the incident Lyra's family moved back at the neighbourhood with teddy's family, Then they found out that on the same night teddy died with no cause at all... After a few months They all went on a group picnic on the park, where the playground that Teddy and Lyra used to play on could be seen... while the families are having a picnic, a cold wind blew moving some sand on the sand box as they looked? They saw two wooden dolls holding one another as if they were alive and would never want to be separated?
The end...
