Twin Pregnancy Journal
June 07/03 34 Weeks and 4 days. I feel pretty good, we are on the home stretch. At my last u/s both babies looked fantastic. Twin A (boy) weighed 3lbs and Twin B(girl) weighed 3lbs4oz. It was a difficult u/s because they were really squished in there, so it was hard to see much, and my OB really had to push hard on my tummy to see what he needed to see, but he said they look great and are growing good. I go weekly to the OB now, and as far as I know we schedule my C-Section for 37 weeks, or maybe he won't schedule it until I'm 37 weeks, I'm going to clarify that next week at my appt. I'm starting to feel overly pregnant, and I'm ready to get to the end, I love having them inside me, but I'm ready to meet them and care for them. Now if I could be so sure about their names :)
May 14/03 28 weeks +1, well I feel pretty good. Have been having major Braxton Hicks contractions, definitely not pleasant ones either, painless my butt!!!! My little girl seems to be doing flips in my belly, hopefully she is getting herself head down. Both of them are very active and I'm barely sleeping because if one isn't kicking the other is!!!! My mom told me to write down my "predictions" as to what they will look like and what their personalities will be like. I have some really strong feelings about these babies. With my son (twin A), I think he will be really long and pudgy with absolutely no hair. I think he will be quite a bit bigger than his twin, with a larger head. I think he will be the more active of the two. I think he will be the harder to settle and be much louder. His kicks are very strong and I think that is an indication of the type of personality he will have. With my daughter (twin B), I think she will be tiny, dainty, very "girly", with a shock of dark curls. I think she will be much tinier, skinnier with a smaller head than her twin. I think she will be a very gentle quiet little thing, she seems so quiet even when she kicks.
May 02/03 I definitely should have started this earlier, I only have 14 weeks until my due date. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone, mind you I've been through tons just to get to 26 weeks. The twins are definitely very active. The boy is up higher and to the right, and his is much more forceful than his sister who is down low and to the left, she has the hiccups a lot. I don't think I am overly huge with this pregnancy, in fact I think I look pretty good for carrying twins. I feel really good too, as much as I hate to jinx myself I think this last month has been good.
