| Tattooing is my life and it is what I love to do. I have been tattooing now for 9 years. I have met a lot of people and done many. One thing, no matter how much I stress, are my rules for my shop and my instructions for after care of your tattoo. Lets start with the rules of the shop. They are posted through out the shop on walls and in every flash book that you look at. Do people read them? Sometimes. Most of the time, people will skip right over the first three pages in the flash book to get to the flash. These rules are posted in the book and on the wall with the title in bold print, "PLEASE READ". Never the less, they are skipped over 9 out of 10 times. They are there for your safety along with mine. Please read the rules and follow them. Here are a couple that constantly get broken. Kids Brought In There are no kids allowed in my shop. Plain and simple. Don't bring them. This isn't a daycare center. If you bring them, I won't tattoo you until you come back with out them. Walking Around Please if you come back to the studio where I am working, do not be walking around me while I am tattooing. As far as that goes, don't be walking around at all. I am not putting on some sort of class for you to constantly be coming up behind me looking over my shoulder. You will be able to see the finish product when I am done. After Care Of Your Tattoo When your tattoo is complete, it is yours. You are given instructions on how to take care of it. If you neglect to follow these instructions or decide you know a better way, then it is your tattoo, don't call me two or three weeks later. Once you sign that release form and set in that chair, you take all responsibility on the life of your tattoo. The instructions and after care are very plain and simple, yet some people refuse to follow them. Many people say that I am very blunt with my rules. I am. I have tried to be nice and simple, but that doesn't work. If you can't understand bluntness, then you must be brain dead. Believe me, there are a lot of brain dead people. I have seen some people call me and tell me they were putting Preperation H on their tattoo. Fine, it's yours. Do what you want with it. I have had some people put ointment on it for 10 days, even though the instructions say between 3 and 4 days. But that is fine, it's yours. Do what you want. It will only lift the color out and keep it from healing properly. Remember, It's yours, DO WHAT YOU WANT!!! |
