Guidelines:

The fic must have an original character with a significant role in the story. This does not mean that the original character (OC) has to be the main character.

Just because there is an original character in your story does not mean they have to be paired with anyone from the Digimon Universe. Most people think that having an Original character means OC x someone from Digimon. But this doesn't need to always be true.

For example, a good action could be formed by a guy named Clef who happens to be the unlucky 13th Chosen Child. If you wanted to add a dash of romance you could get him to help Tai and Sora hook up.

Or maybe you favor humor. What if a mystical Digimon named Nubimon accidently turns Tai into a girl and they have to travel the Digital World together to find a cure.

Or perhaps you favor a tear jerking drama. The scenario, Hikari finds herself sucked into the Dark Ocean once again, only this time, Takeru isn't there to bring her back. What if she were to find another child, much like herself, lost in an abyss of darkness? Can the two strangers work together to get back to their own world? Or is it too late for them?

There are millions of ideas that you can come up with that doesn't have to involve romance between an Original Character and a Digimon character.

HOWEVER

Romance between OC and Digimon characters are appreciated and accepted for this contest just as much as fics without romance between OCs and Digimon characters.

Rules:

1.) An original character MUST have a SIGNIFICANT role in your story. It doesn't matter if they're not in every chapter/scene as long as they're in the story and play a significant role.

2.) All fics must be FINISHED, whether they be one-shot, multipart, or an arc.

3.)At the beginning of your fic you MUST have these:

Title: Your fic's name

Author: Your name.

Category: What genre is it?

Rating: G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17.

Pairings: Whether it be OC x Yamato or Takari.

Warnings: You MUST let the readers know what they've stumbled into, whether it be major sap of NCS.

If it is a multipart fic please do NOT send to the board, post a link with the appropriate information on where to find it. If you do not have a place send it to me ([email protected]) and I'll take care of it.

4.) The subject header of your email to the group should look as so:

{CATEGORY} TITLE OF FIC

5.) You may vote for as many fics as you want, but I will not tolerate multiple votes for one specific fic from you. It is unfair to other author's who've worked just as hard and shameful to the one with multiple votes from you.

6.) Please take your comments to authors off list so the rest of us don't have to sort through chat to find the fics. If you dare to flame someone I will find out about and will not hesitate to disqualify you AND ban you from the list.

If there is a case of plagiarism there will be severe consequences and the Plagiarism Police Patrol will be your judge.

7.) Your fic may compete in two categories (NOTE: If your fic is a yaoi or yuri then it can compete in three. Example: Yaoi, drama, suspense.).

8.) You can submit up to 10 fan fictions. If you submit more after you've reached your tenth one they will be disqualified. This rule is subjected to change.

9.) Fics that were entered and /won/ in previous contests can NOT be entered again.
