Twilight Sleep
I sit and look up at the moon, The stars they shine so bright. Memories of a childhood wish, Come to my mind this night.
My wish to live within a world, Where magic still survived. Of Wizards, Witches, Warlocks too, Magicians of every kind.
This land still thrives between the times, When we're still half asleep. And in this realm of magic things, Is where the dragons keep.
They fly into the air each night, Just as you close your eyes. And on their backs, the Wizards sit, Soaring through the skies.
They bring to us most every night, The dreams we love so much. Of magic realms and creatures, that, Our waking lives can't touch. |
