Medievil Dream
I dreamed of Knights, From day of old. Of battles fought, And stories told.
Of maidens fair, Of Kings and Queens, Of deeds of bravery, No longer seen.
When battles cry, Was 'have at thee'. Not this days Profanity.
The sound of hooves beat on the ground. The clash of swords, The other sound.
Of men in armour, And castles tall. A shame to wake, And leave it all. |
