I wandered down the beach alone, Couldn't face the thought of going home. I waded through the Ocean Surf Wondering, what I had of worth. |

Not Gold or Silver, Jewels or Art More precious, was what I held in my heart. I came upon you standing there, Gazing out to the Ocean, where |

The waves they crashed, the sound so loud, You looked so sad, yet stood there proud. I walked up to you, took your hand, You smiled at me, we sat down on the sand. |

We talked, almost until Sunrise. Again, I saw sadness in your eyes. I knew at once you had to go, Now I hope someday to let you know, |

I walked along the beach today, And came upon the place we lay, The place we held each others hand. ...There were Circles in the Sand. |
