| Twisting Circles and Twisting Fate 7/6/05 |

| Twisting Circles and twisting fate; An ability I long to hate. I know you see me standing here, So what's the problem? What do you fear? Another circle spinning by I stand on the ground and watch it fly. Bending worlds and melting the sun, I know the limits, and now it's done. Fall away into another's eyes, Take a step back and see their lies. Look even farther and you'll see all, The lies are not where the stories fall. Melting suns and twisting fate You'll find, in this world, there's much to hate. So come with me now and drift away, I see no reason for us to stay. Follow me and I'll take you far, I'll take you past a distant star. We'll drift away and forget that place And find a new dream for us to chase. Twisting fate and skipping a stone, Now here's a place I've come to known. You may think I've lost my mind But I am something that you must find. Forgetting now that distant star, Now you think I've gone too far? Bending worlds and melting the sun Is a pasttime that's much too fun. So forget me now and run away, You'll find you need me soon one day. For, you see, I'm much too rare And you cannot pass me without a care. I'll catch your eye and you'll want me so, But I'll run away from you, you know. Pass me now and you will lose The greatest life there is to choose. Maybe someday we'll start a new And I can keep the promise to you To take you to a world you do not known And find the greatest treasure there is to show. But, for now, in this world I hate I'm twisting circles and twisting fate. Two Cents Short Home |
