The Moment Before You Die
5/19/03
In the moment befor you die, you experience life.  Sometimes I'll sit and let all the joy in the world fly around me.  Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with everything in the world, but then I remember to just sit back and let it all flow as it pleases.  I remember that I can't control anything in life, it just happens as it happens. Death happens as it happens.  We can't stop time, and we can't relive it.  Time is something we created, something we no longer control.  Everything happens as it happens.  No one makes it, no one stops it.  It just falls into place.  Life falls into place.  Life is never what you expect because everyone paints a picture for you of what it's supposed to be, of what it isn't.  They say that when you die, your life flashes before your eyes.  You begin to think about everything that happened, you regret everything that didn't happen.  You slip away and you forget.  Before you know it, you're gone.  People say you go to either Heaven or Hell.  We tell ourselfs that there is some place waiting for us, someone protecting us.  We believe this to avoid feeling alone, so we have the sense of life around us.  In the moment before you die, you experience your life once more and you forever live with the mistakes you made.
