We had discussions for two hours and decided that the following were the action items that we have to concentrate on immediately... Procure the roofing material for the pada and finish building the activity room there (Most of the material has already been purchased)

Since the children were not doing great in their academics, we decided to bring in some educationist who could prepare a syllabus and tell us how to go about teaching them. Karthik knows someone who could do this, and we hope to identify that person soon.

To regularize the volunteers visit, we decided to chart out monthly time tables chalking out which person would attend when and at what time. We would finalize this only after consulting the volunteers themselves so that they don�t give excuses later and even if they are unable to attend a class, they are obligated to compensate.

We also are now aware that we have not made the locals participate in our process as much as we should have. So this needs to be given more importance from now on.

Keeping in mind the need to be professional we have decided to allocate roles for volunteers viz one to take care of the Finances, one for Advertising our cause, one for Website maintenance, one for Report writing and documentation etc...We will soon send out a list of who will take care of what...

This is it as of now. We will send you update on the different action items that we have mentioned in this report.
