**Chapter 32

"So are you ready for the fight yet, Ms. Brat?" Kai asked with a smirk. Daphne looked at her coldly. Kai then crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Oh! So Ms. Brat actually learned from Ms. Cold-face General the cold face routine," Saeri said.

"Oh Saeri!" Julie called out with pretended shock. "What happened to your stomach?" Saeri glared at her.

"Shut up," Saeri snarled. Julie smirked.

"So how do you want to fight, Kai?" Dream asked. Kai shrugged.

"I don't care," Kai said. She then looked at Dream with a smile. "Depends on you."

"So confident in yourself?" Tiff asked. Kai had a little smile on her face.

"Of course," Kai answered. Tiff shook her head. "What? You suppose that you would win?"

"I never said that," Tiff said as she continued to shake her head. "I was just thinking that maybe all of this confidence was what caused you to go around stealing other people's boyfriends." Kai smiled.

"Of course not," Kai said. "You don't see me going after Kang Ta." She glanced at Daphne. "I only go after the guys that I'm interested in."

"So you were interested in Min Woo?" Miya asked. Kai shook her head.

"I am interested in Min Woo," Kai said. She looked at Julie. "I was also interested in Woo Hyuk if you wanted to know the truth."

"I thought that you weren't suppose to have any power left after you slept with a guy that you don't like?" Dream said. Kai smirked.

"You don't have to sleep with a guy to make a guy believe that you slept with him," Kai said.

"So it was all a fake!?" Grace exclaimed. Kai shrugged.

"If you want to call it that, it's your choice," Kai said. "What I hate the most is that he still loves Ji Hye. Got to change that." The rest of the girls looked at one another. The other members of the Black Fox Tribe smirked.

"Don't think that you could get away, Daphne. Kang Ta is mine," Holly said with a victorious smile. Daphne stared at her.

"If he likes you that is," Daphne said.

"I'm sure that he likes sophisticated woman better than little girls who could never grow up," Holly said.

"So are we going to fight?" Daphne asked with a challenging look toward Holly. Holly smiled.

"You're mine," Holly said as she jumped into the air.

When Kang Ta got to the beach, the girls were already fighting.

"Daph-!" Kang Ta was about to call out when someone pulled him down. He looked over and was surprised. "Min Woo?" Min Woo looked at him solemnly.

"Don't interrupt them," Min Woo said. "If you go over now, the Black Foxes would take the chance to capture you and make Daphne unable to concentrate."

"Min Woo�You don't understand," Kang Ta said as he looked at the sky again. Min Woo motioned for him to be quiet.

"Just wait till it's not that violent," Min Woo said.

"But I'm afraid�"

"You don't have to be afraid for them," Min Woo said. "I believe in them."

"It's not that�"

"Don't worry about it," Min Woo said. He looked at Kang Ta. "If anything happens, I would help them. If I so happen to die, tell Ji Hye that I always loved her and tell Woo Hyuk that I'm sorry for what happened. I didn't know that it was all Kai's plan." Kang Ta looked at him surprised again.

"You know all about it already?" Kang Ta asked. Min Woo nodded.

"I was here all along and I heard everything that they said," Min Woo explained.

"You're never going to win me, Daphne," Holly said with an evil grin. "Trust me. You are too young. Just tell me that you give up this contest and Kang Ta and I'll let you go."

"In your dreams, Holly," Daphne said as she made another strike. She successfully hurt Holly on the shoulder.

"Brat," Holly said along with some other curses under her breath. She then glared at Daphne and made attacks at Daphne.

"Now I know why you are called the Athena of the Foxes," Kai said as she started another round of attacks against Dream. Dream glanced at her.

"You're not so bad yourself," Dream replied. Kai smiled and continued her attack.

"Thanks for the compliment," Kai said. "I suppose that I should be happy. Since that came out of the Athena of the Foxes."

"What do you think you're doing?" Grace called out as she looked at Katyusha go toward the mountain. Katyusha turned around with a smile.

"Don't you think that it would be more special if we fought on the mountain?" Katyusha asked. Grace looked at her.

"What are you, a coward?" Grace asked.

"No, I'm not. But if you don't follow me to the top of the mountain, you are the coward," Katyusha said.

Grace then ran after her up the mountain.

"What is Grace doing?" Tiff asked Cindi, for they were fighting extremely close to one another against Jini and Kabuki.

"I saw her running after Katyusha. Maybe Katyusha got afraid of her?" Cindi asked.

"Never," Jini said as the four continued to fight, occasionally changing opponents. "She's part of the Black Fox Tribe."

"Nothing would ever cause her to run away from an opponent. Even if she had to fight to her death, she would," Kabuki said.

"So are you tired yet, Polly?" Saeri asked as she punched toward Julie.

"I told you that my name is not Polly," Julie said as she ducked to side and gave Saeri a counter blow. She hit her on the back.

"Stupid bird. I'm going to pluck your feathers tonight," Saeri said as she looked at Julie evilly.

"Good that you want to fight now. I was just waiting for a fox fur jacket for Hyukkie," Julie said as she attacked again.

"I never knew you know how to fight," Michi said. Miya looked at her as they continued to exchange blows.

"I know more than singing and dancing," Miya said.

"Oh I forgot," Michi said. Miya smirked.

"I wonder why you weren't willing to fight with me at the caf�?" Miya asked. Michi smiled.

"And let them know my identity? I'm not that stupid Miya," Michi said.

"Oh really? I thought that you weren't afraid to let humans know your true identity. Or are you afraid that a particular person knows about your identity?" Miya asked. Michi glared at her.

"It's not for you to know," Michi said.

"I wish I could get the others here," Min Woo suddenly said. Kang Ta looked at him.

"Why?" Kang Ta asked. Min Woo sighed.

"I want them to recognize the faces of the Black Fox Tribe members so they won't get tricked by them like I did," Min Woo said. "I never would have guessed that under that innocent face of Kai was a heart so evil."

"But I don't think that the rest of the people would believe it unless they really see it," Kang Ta said. Min Woo nodded.

"That's why I want them to come here and see it for themselves," Min Woo said. Kang Ta looked back at the fight.

"What are you going to do with Kai now?" Kang Ta asked. Min Woo sighed again.

"What could I do? I know that everything is a lie now," Min Woo said.

"Are you going to go back to Ji Hye?" Kang Ta asked. Min Woo shook his head. "Why not!? How could you�"

"You don't understand Kang Ta," Min Woo cut in. "I don't even know if Ji Hye hates me or not. If I really break up with Kai right now, the others would believe that I'm just a player."

"So you're going to be with Kai?" Kang Ta asked.

"At least until Ji Hye finds a man good enough to make her happy. I'm not that man," Min Woo answered. Kang Ta sighed and patted Min Woo on the shoulders.

"Daphne, you should know that it's your time to end already," Holly said as she looked at her opponent. Daphne looked at her while she panted.

"I know what my future is. I don't need you to tell me," Daphne said. "But to warn you about one thing: I'll fight to my death."

"If you choose to do so, I can't stop you," Holly said with a smile. "We all know what would happen tonight, Daphne."

"If it's fate," Daphne said, "then let it come."

Suddenly, from behind Kang Ta and Min Woo, they heard footsteps in the sand. They turned around.

"Leslie?" Kang Ta asked. The person in the sand smiled lightly as he stopped at where they were kneeling at and bent down to prevent the people fighting from seeing him.

"How's the fight getting along so far?" he asked.

"How did you�"

"Don't ask," he said.

"Why?" Min Woo asked.

"I told you to not ask," he said with a smile. "I'll tell you everything at the end." Kang Ta and Min Woo looked at one another. "Where's Grace?"

"She went up the mountains to fight against Katyusha," Kang Ta answered.

"Wait for me here. I'll come back soon," he said. He then turned and disappeared into thin air leaving Min Woo and Kang Ta looking after him.

Chapter 33

"Where are you? Stop being a coward! Come out and fight like a warrior!" Grace yelled. Suddenly, there was laughter in the air.

"We never said that we can't use schemes," Katyusha's voice said. Grace looked in the direction that Katyusha's voice came from.

"You're a coward," Grace said.

"Wrong," Katyusha said. "I'm just using my own way to win a fight." This time, the voice came from a different direction. Grace turned toward the direction again. She didn't see that something was creeping up behind her�

A scream was heard in the air�

Grace turned around and found a fox�

"Katyusha?" Grace said to herself as she looked at the fox that was lying on the floor.

"Don't worry. She'll get her human form back in one year," a voice said behind her. She turned around and saw Leslie.

"Leslie?" Grace asked as she looked at him in surprise. "What are you doing here?" Leslie shrugged with a smile. He then looked at her seriously.

"We better get back before something happens. You should know what there's a possibility of tonight," Leslie said as he pointed to the sky that he was looking at. Grace followed his eyes and looked at the sky.

"Yeah�I know," Grace said solemnly. She then looked at the fox on the floor. "How did you know all about this?" Leslie smiled at her.

"Maybe it's time for you to know the truth," Leslie said as he walked behind her. He then moved his head closer to Grace's ears and whispered, "Or maybe not." Grace turned around and found out that he had disappeared.

"Daphne!" Kang Ta yelled as she fell to the floor. Miya and Dream turned around and found that a secret weapon had hit Daphne from the back. Tiff and Cindi flew up into the air and found the culprit. They came back with Ada.

"Let go of me," Ada snarled as she was carried up to Miya and Dream. Miya slapped her while Dream used her power and made a rope. Tiff and Cindi took it and tied Ada to a tree nearby.

"Don't even try to get out," Dream said coldly. "Only I could get the rope loose." She then turned around and ran to where Daphne was lying. "Daphne�"

"Dream�Miya�" Daphne said weakly as she looked at the girls around her.

"Yes, Daphne?" Miya said as she looked at her dongseng.

"Where's�Grace?" Daphne asked.

"Daphne unnie!" they heard a voice called out. They turned around and found Grace running there. She then stopped in mid-track. She looked at the people who were there. "Did�His Highness send you here?" she asked the people. The people nodded. They were holding most of the members of the Black Fox Tribe. The only ones gone were Saeri, Kai, Michi, and Katyusha. She then looked at Daphne and ran over. "What happened?" Grace asked as she looked at everyone. "What happened!?"

"Ada attacked her with a secret weapon while she was fighting with Holly," Julie explained. Grace shook her head.

"That's unfair�" Grace said as tears started to well up in her eyes. "That's unfair! I thought that we were going to have an official fight!"

"We thought so also," Dream said as she looked at Daphne. "Are you ok, Daphne?" Daphne nodded weakly. Dream then turned Daphne around and looked at the wound. "There's poison in there�Poison of the Undersea Flowers." The other girls looked at Dream with widened eyes.

"You're kidding," Tiff said as she shook her head. "It's impossible!"

"What!?" Kang Ta exclaimed. "What is that? Tell me!" Dream looked at him sadly.

"It's a kind of poison that came from a type of poisonous flower. There's no cure to it," Dream said. She then looked at Kang Ta. "Forget about her, Kang Ta."

"No�" Kang Ta said as he shook his head. "I can't�" Tears started to fall down. "I knew it�She taught me how to look at the stars�The stars above�could show the life span of everyone�she taught me�That's why I was so worried�" He then looked at Dream. "I can't forget her." Dream shook her head.

"I have to take her back home," Dream said. "We aren't allowed to let our people die outside the tribe." Kang Ta shook his head.

"I'll go back with you," Kang Ta said. Dream shook her head again.

"We can't allow humans there," Dream said. Kang Ta then looked at Daphne sadly. "And another thing is that there's a place back at home where she could live in and it might help her life span grow a little bit longer." Kang Ta looked at Dream and then back at Daphne.

"Daphne�" Kang Ta whispered. Daphne had fainted by this time.

"I can't help it, Kang Ta. It's against the rules or else I would have helped you," Dream said. She then took Daphne over from his arms and stood up. Kang Ta looked at her. Dream looked at him. "I have to take her back as soon as possible." She looked down the beach. "Tell Dong Wan that I'm sorry." She then disappeared into thin air. Miya looked at Kang Ta for a while.

"Tell Jun Jin that�I can't help it�but I have to leave him, ok?" Miya said. Each word that she said got lower and lower. "I have to take part of the blame that Dream is going to get. Sorry. Sorry for all the trouble that I have caused." She then turned around. Julie placed her hand on Miya's shoulder before Miya could go away. Miya turned and looked at Julie. Julie smiled at her. Miya looked at her questioningly. Julie then turned toward Kang Ta again.

"Kang Ta�tell Hyukkie�that I love him," Julie said. She then looked downward. "Tell him that I have to go back." Tiff and Cindi then walked up to Julie and Miya.

"Tell Brian for me," Cindi said. Miya looked at them in surprise.

"You don't have to�" Miya began. The three girls shook their head.

"We have to take some of the blame also," Tiff said. She then sighed. "It's about time for us to go back to our life before." Kang Ta looked at them. Tiff smiled. "We are going to be changed back to our regular shapes." Kang Ta looked at them with widened eyes. Cindi nodded.

"That's the punishment for going against rules," Cindi said.

"Tell Eric that I'm sorry. Tell him that beings of two different groups are not allowed to be together," Tiff said. She then smiled at Kang Ta. "I told him that I was a bird. He accepted it. He never told anyone and he loved me the same." The four girls then smiled at one another and they all disappeared into the air. Kang Ta looked after them with Min Woo on the beach.

"Was that all a dream?" Kang Ta asked as tears continued to fall. "But if it's a dream, why do I still feel that pain of Daphne leaving me?" Min Woo shook his head.

"It's not a dream. She was part of your life. Just like all the other girls were part of all of our life," Min Woo said. He then looked at Kang Ta. "I want to tell the rest of the guys about this. Do you think that they would understand this?" Kang Ta nodded.

"I don't care if they accept it or not. I don't want them to be in the dark forever. Especially the ones who fell in love with one of them," Kang Ta said. They suddenly hear someone playing a flute not too far off. They turned toward the direction. There was a person standing on a rock in the ocean. The guy looked up, smiled, and disappeared. Within seconds, he appeared in front of Kang Ta and Min Woo.

"Leslie�who are you, really?" Min Woo asked as he looked at him. He smiled.

"I guess there's not much more fun to keep my identity a secret, right?" he said. He then looked toward the sky. "I'm part of the fox tribes also." Kang Ta and Min Woo looked at him. He smiled. "My name is not really Leslie."

"Then who are you?" Kang Ta asked. He turned and looked at Kang Ta and Min Woo with a smile.

"My name," he said, "is�"

Chapter 34

"My name," he said, "is Alex."

"Alex�that guy that Daphne was going to marry?" Kang Ta asked. Alex nodded slowly. He then smiled.

"Trust me that I have no interest in Daphne except as a sister," Alex said. He then looked at a star that wasn't too far off from where Daphne's star was. Kang Ta looked toward it as well. Alex asked him, "Since Daphne did tell you a little about stars, did she ever told you which one stood for each person in their little group of girls?" Kang Ta nodded.

"You like Grace?" Kang Ta asked. Alex nodded.

"I don't know why they suddenly messed it up and said that I liked Daphne," Alex said. He then shrugged. "I guess because she has the ability to give birth to human changing foxes." He then laughed. "Love can't grow from that." He then turned and looked at Kang Ta. "I don't suppose that you love Daphne because of that." Kang Ta shook his head.

"I love her for who she is," Kang Ta said. Alex nodded. He then looked at Min Woo.

"Go look for Ji Hye. She's waiting for you every night by her window. She always thought that you would drive pass one night and tell her that you were playing," Alex said. Min Woo looked at him. Alex nodded. "Trust me. I'm not Kai." Min Woo then smiled.

"Thanks man," Min Woo said.

"No problem."

Ji Hye sighed as she looked at the stars in the sky. Was she doomed to do this every night? Was she doomed to count the stars every night? She sighed again. She suddenly hear a sound of a vehicle driving pass. She quickly looked down.

"No�not him," Ji Hye said to herself. She sighed again. "Why can't it be Min Woo?"

"Because I'm here," she heard a voice say suddenly. She looked down.

"Min Woo�" Ji Hye whispered as she looked at the guy that she was thinking about all day. "Am I dreaming?" Min Woo shook his head. He then climbed up the side of the house by the pipelines like he always did. He then jumped into her window. Ji Hye touched his face gently.

"I'm sorry, Ji Hye," Min Woo said. Ji Hye shook her head.

"It's not your fault�Actually�It is your fault�but I don't blame you," Ji Hye said. Min Woo smiled.

"There's actually nothing between me and Kai," Min Woo said. Ji Hye looked at him surprised. Min Woo looked at her. "I'll tell you something that would sound weird�but it's all true�"

"I'm sorry, Your Highness," Dream said as she kneeled in front of the leader of the White Fox Tribe. The leader looked at her without any expressions.

"I always took you as my prized warrior, Dream," the leader said. He then sighed. He looked at Daphne. "How is she?"

"She got hurt by the Poison of the Undersea Flowers," Miya said. The leader shook his head.

"Take her to the Recovery Room," he said. Dream nodded and stood up with Daphne. While Dream and Miya were walking out of the hallway, the leader looked after them with a sigh.

"Grace�what are you thinking about?" Julie asked. Grace sighed.

"I don't know," Grace said. "I'm thinking about so many things that I don't know what I'm thinking about anymore."

"Why not? Aren't you happy that nothing bad would happen to all of us?" Julie asked. She then looked at Grace with a smile. "And aren't you happy that Alex is going to ask for you hand for marriage?" Grace looked at her.

"How do you know?" Grace asked. Julie smiled again.

"You forgot that most of the birds in my tribe are messenger birds?" Julie asked. "They sent a news to the leader of the White Fox Tribe, the Red Fox Tribe leader that is, that Alex wants you and not Daphne. He apologized saying that he made the mistake." Grace then sighed again as she looked at her hands.

"How could I be happy though?" Grace asked. "Yeah, I should be happy that he likes me. But what about Daphne unnie? She's my unnie. I don't want to get married without her there for me." Julie sighed.

"Grace�you know that Daphne has a great chance that she's not going to live anymore. You saw the stars in the skies yourself," Julie said. Grace nodded. She then thought of something.

"Wait! Doesn't the leader of the tribe have thousand years old ginseng?" Grace asked. Julie looked at her.

"You don't suppose that he's going to take it out, do you? There's only like three in each tribe. As for your tribe, there's only one left," Julie said. Grace then thought for a while.

"He would," Grace said definitely. "I'm getting married to the son of a leader of a tribe. He would give me anything. I could bet you on that one."

"Grace�You have been with me for so many years," the leader said as he looked at Grace with a smile. "Now, you are finally going to be married soon." He then sighed. He looked at Grace. "What would you like for your birthday, Grace?" Grace looked at him.

"Your Highness," Grace said, "would I be able to get anything that I want?" The leader nodded.

"Of course. You are one of the members of the White Fox Tribe and you're getting married to the son of the leader of the Red Fox Tribe," the leader said. Grace looked at him for a while.

"I want," Grace said, "the thousand years ginseng." The leader looked at her in surprise at the beginning. He then looked at her.

"Grace�You know that that is the most treasured thing in the tribe," the leader began. Grace looked at him.

"Your Highness, I'm not doing this for myself," Grace said. "I want to use it for Daphne."

"The thousand year old ginseng is located in this box. It's a box that has only one key to it," the leader said as he handed Grace the box and the key. Grace looked at him.

"Thank you, Your Highness," Grace said. The leader shook his head.

"Even if you didn't ask for it, I was planning on using it for Daphne," the leader said. Grace looked at him in surprise. The leader looked back at her. "Grace�Do you know that the four of you, Dream, Miya, you, and Daphne are my favorite among all the members of the White Fox Tribe?" Grace looked down quietly. "I wish all of you the best. You all might think that I was being selfish when I was marrying Daphne off to Alex�You have to understand that I thought that that was the best place for Daphne." He then sighed. "I never thought that her true love was outside the Tribe." Grace looked at him in surprise again. He smiled at her.

"You�knew that Daphne and Kang Ta�"

"Yes," the leader said with a nod. "He's a fine young man." He then looked at Grace again with a smile. "I should have guessed that you like Alex." Grace blushed.

"Here's the ginseng," Grace said to Dream. Dream looked at her surprised.

"How did you get it?" Dream asked. Grace looked at her.

"The leader gave it to me," Grace answered. Dream then nodded in understanding.

"Let's get it to Daphne then," Miya said. Suddenly, something jumped down from the top of the building that they were standing next to and grabbed the box.

"Kai!?" the three girls exclaimed. Kai turned around and smirked at them.

"I told you that I'm going to get my revenge," Kai said. She then disappeared with the box.

"NO!!!!" Grace yelled.

"Grace�" Miya said as she held on to Grace. Dream then went after Kai.

"Ms. Grace! Ms. Grace!" one of the servants came up to Grace.

"What's the matter?" Miya asked. The girl started to pant as she talked.

"Ms. Miya�the doctor�said that�Ms. Daphne�is losing�energy�" Grace's eyes widened. She ran in the direction of where the leader was.

"Grace!" Miya called after her.

"Go! Tell Daphne to hold on!" Grace yelled back.

"She doesn't seem to be struggling for life anymore," the doctor said as he shook her head. "I thought that Ms. Daphne would have been stronger than this. She should have had at least a year before these symptoms appear. She's going ahead of herself in death." Miya looked at Daphne.

"Daphne�You have to hold on," Miya whispered. "You have to. Grace told me to tell you that. She's going to the leader�" Something suddenly hit her - she knows what Grace was going to do.

"Your Highness," Grace said as she kneeled in front of the leader.

"What? What's this, Grace? What are you doing?" the leader asked. Grace looked up at him with tear-filled eyes.

"I know that I might be asking for too much but I want to ask for one more favor," Grace said as she started to cry.

"What happened, Grace?" the leader asked with a worried frown.

"Daphne�the doctor said that she's losing energy now�" Grace said.

"What!?" the leader said as he stood up. "I thought that I gave you the ginseng?"

"Kai stole it," Grace said.

"Kai�" the leader said as he clenched his fist. "Her again." He then looked at Grace again. "Even if she didn't take the ginseng, shouldn't she�have at least one more year of living?" Grace nodded.

"But I don't know what happened," Grace said. The leader sighed.

"What were you going to ask for, Grace?" the leader asked.

"I want to ask, if I could get Kang Ta in here," Grace said. The leader looked at her for a while.

"Grace�"

"Daphne," Miya said, "you have to hold on, dongseng. Remember that you haven't saw Kang Ta for the last time yet. You didn't accomplish what you told me that you would yet. How could you die?" Daphne lied on the bed without moving. Miya sighed.

"Ms. Miya," the servant said. "Do you want to rest for a little first? You have been beside Ms. Daphne's side for more than a day already." Miya shook her head. Suddenly the door opened.

"Daphne!" Kang Ta called out as he ran to the bed at the quickest speed that he could and held on to Daphne's hand.

"Kang Ta�" Miya whispered. She then turned and looked at the rest of the people.

"Miya�" Jun Jin whispered.

"Jun Jin�how�how did they let you in?" Miya asked as she stood up. Jun Jin smiled.

"We have special passes now," Jun Jin explained. Miya then noticed someone else in the crowd.

"Michi?" Miya asked. Michi looked at her.

"I'm sorry," Michi said quietly. She then held out her hand. In her hand, there was a black crystal as smooth as a pearl.

"What are you doing?" Miya asked in surprise. Michi looked up at her with a smile.

"I decided to give up my identity," Michi said. "You know the other option of changing into a regular human. If I did a hundred good deeds within three days and give up my crystal." She looked at the crystal and then at Jae Won. "I decided to give it up for Jae Won." Miya then nodded in understanding. "It's worth it," Michi said. Jae Won smiled at her.

"It's all good," Grace said. Michi then looked at Miya again.

"Give Daphne the crystal. Crush it into powder and let her swallow it. It should let her live at least five more years," Michi said. Miya then nodded. From the bed, there was suddenly commotion.

"Daphne? What happened?" Kang Ta asked, worried, as he look at Daphne suddenly turned over on the bed and started to throw up blood. He turned and looked at the rest of the people. "What happened? Why is she like this!?" Miya shook her head as she ran to the bed.

"It's the poison," Miya said. "It's killing her." Kang Ta looked at her and started to cry.

"No�why do you have to leave me?" Kang Ta said. Miya sighed. She was calm all of a sudden.

"Kang Ta�You know about the stars�That's our life�Yesterday, I looked at her star again. She's going to die within these three days," Miya said.

Chapter 35

Kang Ta looked at Daphne.

"Kang Ta�You have to have some sleep," Grace said. "You haven't slept for one entire day already." Kang Ta shook his head.

"She has only two days left. I want to spend as many days as I could with her," Kang Ta said as he looked at Daphne. Grace sighed and left the room to give them time to be together alone. Once she was outside, she started to cry. Someone patted her on her shoulder and she looked up.

"Alex�"

Alex smiled at her. Grace then started to cry in his arms.

"Alex�what am I suppose to do? She's my unnie�I don't want this to end yet," Grace said. Alex sighed.

"You know that when it's time for something to happen, no one could stop it," Alex said. Grace sobbed.

"I know," Grace said. "We were all taught that since we were young but now it's Daphne unnie and she's still so young." Alex nodded.

"I know what you mean," Alex said. "It's always hard to let go of a loved one." Grace nodded.

"Can you believe that because of this, a lot of pairs got made?" Miya asked Jun Jin. Jun Jin smiled bitterly.

"I guess because everyone is afraid about what would happen tomorrow. What if one of them became like Daphne? Then there would be no more chance to tell the girl or the boy of their love to them," Jun Jin said. Miya sighed.

"It's too sad," Miya said. "They didn't spend enough time together." Jun Jin nodded.

"It's going to be horrible for Kang Ta after Daphne goes away," Jun Jin said. Miya nodded. Miya looked at Eun Hee and Hye Sung who weren't too far off.

"They were a pair before this whole thing, no?" Miya asked. Jun Jin nodded.

"They became a pair after you returned here. Also, Fany and Wei Lin, Tony and Poyan, Hee Jun and Victoria, and Emily and Andy," Jun Jin said.

"I never thought that they would end up as pairs," Miya said. "Well, except for a few couples. I never expected Emily and Andy." Jun Jin smiled.

"What about Victoria and Hee Jun? Don't tell me that something went past you along the way," Jun Jin said. Miya blushed.

"Dream intercepted a letter that Kai got when Victoria was about to send to Hee Jun," Miya explained.

"Oh," Jun Jin said. Miya sighed. "What's the matter now?"

"I'm just thinking�what would have happened in you people's lives if we never came in," Miya said. Jun Jin sighed as well.

"I don't know. I just know that now, I can't live without you," Jun Jin said with a smile. Miya turned slightly red.

"DAPHNE!!!!!" Kang Ta yelled. It was around 4 in the morning. Everyone rushed to the room that Daphne was staying in.

"Daphne!" the rest of the people yelled. More than half of her body was slowly turning back into a fox starting from her foot.

"No�" Miya said.

"Why�why is she like that?" Kang Ta asked. Miya shook her head.

"That means that she's dying," Miya whispered. "Her crystal is shattering inside her." Kang Ta shook his head.

"How are we going to save her?" Kang Ta asked.

"We would have tried ways if there were. She couldn't even swallow the powder of Michi's crystal," Miya said. Kang Ta cried.

"He's crying more than usual," Poyan said softly. Tony nodded.

Suddenly, Daphne's eyes fluttered open and looked at Kang Ta.

"Chil�Hyun�" Daphne said softly. Kang Ta looked up at her.

"Daphne�Daphne�My love�" Kang Ta whispered as he held her hand up to his lips. "Don't leave me�" Daphne smiled.

"We'll see one another even if this our last day�" Daphne said� "Don't worry about it�Chil Hyun�Remember our promise?" Kang Ta looked at her for a while before nodding.

"Daphne�" Kang Ta said. "We'll meet again�We'll continue that love that we had�No matter what life time�no matter how long it takes�" Daphne nodded weakly as a teardrop fell down from her eyes.

"Chil Hyun�Tell me�Did you ever blame me for not telling you that I was a fox?" Daphne asked. Kang Ta shook his head.

"I didn't blame you," Kang Ta said. "You were the one who left me. I didn't want to leave you." Daphne then closed her eyes and cried.

"I should have believed you�" Daphne said. She then opened her eyes and looked at him again. "Chil Hyun�see you�in our next life�I love you�always�" Daphne then closed her eyes and her hand holding Kang Ta's fell limp as her body started to shrivel into a white fox.

"Daphne�" Kang Ta whispered. "I love you too." Suddenly, the door slammed open.

"Daphne!" Dream yelled when she walked in. She suddenly saw Daphne and she stopped in her tracks as she panted.

"Dream�" Miya said as she looked at Dream with tears all over her face. "Daphne�she�" Dream held up her hand. Dream closed her eyes.

"Don't tell me," Dream whispered as she shook her head. "No. Don't tell me. I don't want to hear it�I don't want to hear it from you, Miya." The ginseng that was in her hand fell to the floor. She then walked out of the door slowly to find the leader.

"You beat Kai?" the leader asked. Dream nodded numbly.

"Kai is forced to return to her original shape for at least the next three thousand years and Saeri came back with me," Dream said. She opened her bag and released Saeri. Saeri kneeled in front of the leader. The leader nodded.

"It's good that you finally notice that you're wrong," the leader said. Saeri lowered her head in guilt.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble that I have caused," Saeri said. She then looked up at the leader. "To repay for what I did, I wish to look after the garden of the Undersea Flowers for the rest of my life." The leader nodded.

"I'll grant you that," the leader said. Saeri then bowed low.

"Thank you, Your Highness," Saeri said.

"Dream�did you save Daphne?" the leader asked. Dream shook her head slowly.

"No, Your Highness," Dream said. "I came back�too�late�"

Epilogue

*twenty years later*

"I can't believe that Kang Ta choose that road," Woo Hyuk said to the rest of the people. They were standing on the cliff that overlooked the beach that the girls had fought with the Black Fox Tribes. Hee Jun nodded.

"Didn't he know that his friends would be upset for him?" Hee Jun asked with sigh. After Daphne died, Kang Ta never dated with anyone. Finally, after ten years, Kang Ta passed away. The girls who had belong to the animal tribes gave up their crystals and became humans the way that Michi did. Grace and Alex did not stay in the Red Fox Tribe although Alex was now officially the leader of the Red Fox Tribe. He and Grace decided to go around the world. Occasionally, they would come back and visit their old friends. One of the good things was that the leader of the White Fox Tribe took an extract out of the thousand old ginseng and allowed the girls in the tribes to have some of it. They were, therefore, able to continue using their telepathic powers.

The rest of the people nodded.

"Hee Jun!" someone suddenly yelled. They turned around and saw Tiff running toward them.

"What's the matter Tiff?" Hee Jun asked. Tiff caught up with them.

"Your wife�Victoria�she's giving birth�now," Tiff said as she caught her breath. Hee Jun looked at her surprised.

"Right now!?" Hee Jun asked. Tiff nodded. He then ran over to his car. "See you people later. I got to go to Victoria now." The rest of the people shook their head as they look at Hee Jun drive away and each of them went over to their car.

*on Jun Jin's car*

The cell phone of Jun Jin suddenly started to ring.

"Hello?" Jun Jin answered.

"Jun Jin!? This is Dream! Miya's giving birth now!"

"What!? Her also?" Jun Jin exclaimed as he added more pressure to the gas pedal.

"Yeah! She's in the same hospital as Victoria," Dream said. She then hung up.

"Congratulations Mr. Moon! Your wife gave birth to a son," the nurse said. Hee Jun then took the baby over and looked at him with a proud smile. A few minute later, the nurse from the room that Miya was in also came out with a baby.

"Who's Mr. Park?" the nurse asked. Jun Jin jumped out of his seat. The nurse smiled. "Your wife gave birth to a daughter." Jun Jin then took the baby over and looked her over.

"Aww�They are both so cute!" Ji Hye said as she looked at the babies. The rest of the people nodded. Hee Jun then walked over to Jun Jin.

"They are both so cute," Hee Jun said as he looked at Jun Jin's baby and then his baby. Jun Jin nodded as he did the same thing that Hee Jun was doing. Hee Jun was about to walk away when he found out that something was tugging to his baby. Or at least his baby was tugging on to something. He looked and found out that Jun Jin's baby and his baby were holding hands�

Jun Jin looked at Hee Jun and Hee Jun looked at Jun Jin�

They then looked at the baby closely again�

"He looks like�" Hee Jun was saying�

"She looks like�" Jun Jin said at the same time. They looked at one another and said�

Conclusion

After about one month, Hee Jun and the rest of the people went to the Red Fox Tribe to look for Grace and Alex. They came back once a month and that day was the day that they were going to be back at the Tribe.

"Is it really Daphne and Kang Ta?" Jun Jin asked Grace and Alex. Grace looked at the two babies. When her eyes landed on the girl, her eyes started to water.

"Daphne..." Grace said. She then took the baby over. Hee Jun looked at them as he walked closer to the baby girl for the baby boy was still holding on to her hand.

"So it really is?" Hee Jun asked. Alex nodded slowly. He then raised his hand. Two servants then went to the back.

"What's the matter?" Miya asked worriedly. Alex just shook his head and looked at the two babies.

"I want to name him Kang Ta," Hee Jun said as he looked at son. Alex smiled. The servants reappeared and they carried something up to Alex. Alex took the box over and opened it. He took a small piece of the thing in there and fed it to the baby girl.

"What is that?" Miya asked. Alex smiled again.

"It's the thousand years old ginseng mixed with the crystal of Michi," Alex said. "When she grows up, she could use the telepathic powers again." Miya then nodded in understanding as she looked at the baby girl.

"So she's really Daphne," Miya muttered to herself. Suddenly, Grace gave the child back to Miya and ran to the back. Miya and the rest of the people looked after her in surprise.

"What's the matter with Grace?" Victoria asked. Alex smiled a little bit shyly.

"She's pregnant," Alex said. The other people eyes widened.

"But the child..." Dream started. Alex looked at her.

"We got her checked," Alex said. "She also possesses the power of giving birth to a child that could change into human form. They thought that it was impossible to have two. But Grace is. As some of you would know by her star above." The other people nodded. Grace then walked back in with two servants holding on to her. Suddenly, someone ran in.

"Get off of my you stupid fox!" the person in gray said.

"Hisashi?" the girls said in surprise.

"Yo! Help me get this thing off would you?" Hisashi asked. The girls then helped him and got the animal off of him. They then placed the thing in a cage that the servants brought over. Alex then pointed to the animal and whispered something.

"What is he doing?" Dong Wan asked Dream.

"He's using a special power to let the animal talk," Dream explained. Hisashi looked at the rest of the people.

"I can't believe that you people gave up your powers for your husbands," Hisashi said as he shook his head. "Anyways...I got to be going now. See you people next time. Love you all!" He then winked and left.

"What are you doing here, Kai?" Alex asked when he finally stopped. The animal looked at everyone with hatred.

"I want to kill all of you!" Kai said. Alex shook his head.

"It seems that I have left you off too easily," Alex said with a sigh. Suddenly, some more animals came in.

"Your Highness, please help us!" the animals hollered. "It's all Kai's fault. She doesn't have her powers anymore but she still attempts to harm us in which she successfully does every time." Alex looked at Kai who was looking back at him with unfearful eyes. Alex looked at the animals.

"What do you think that I should do?" Alex asked. The animals looked at Kai.

"Give her the punishment that she deserves!" Alex looked at Kai again.

"You have lost your chance to become good, Kai," Alex said.

"I never wanted to be good! It was all you people's fault! My father and my mother is all because of you people!" Kai said. Alex looked off in a far distance.

"One day, you'll know what happened to them," Alex said. He then looked at the animals. "From now on, Kai has no more powers. She would never die, yet she would have no more powers. Therefore, she would suffer from the torture of other animals yet she has no power to fight back." The animals then bowed to Alex. Alex then released the power and Kai disappeared from the hall. He looked at Grace.

"Do you think that I was too harsh on her, Grace?" Alex asked. Grace shook her head.

"I don't think so. But you have to consider the fact that I hated her for the death of Daphne," Grace said. Alex nodded. He then looked at the rest of the people. He walked over to the two babies. He looked at the skies that were above the two babies. He raised his hand and closed his eyes.

"May the stars always be with you and live as long as possible so that you two could continue the love that the two of you had shared," Alex said. Two bright lights then descended from the skies and landed in his hands. He then closed his hands and opened his eyes. He looked back at the group of people. The servants brought two necklaces over and on the necklace were two clear lockets that were opened. Alex took the two necklaces. When he opened his hands, there were two necklaces. In the two necklaces, there were two lights that came from the center of the locket.

"What is that?" Jae Won asked.

"He took the two stars that represented Daphne and Kang Ta and placed them in the lockets," Michi said. She then shook her head. "I can't believe that Alex came to have so much power." The rest of the girls nodded.

"He's probably the most powerful of the three leaders now," Tiff commented. Cindi nodded.

"A few of my sisters came and told us that," Cindi explained. Alex then looked at the people after he had finished examining the two necklaces.

"Let this be my gift to the two children," Alex said with a smile. He then picked the girl up and placed the necklace on her neck. "Let you guard Kang Ta's star with your life and never let it die." He then placed Daphne down and picked up Kang Ta. "Let you protect Daphne's star till the end of your life and never let it lose its strength." He then placed Kang Ta down again. "You two will depend on one another now. Don't let one another die. For the stars represent your lives, my dears. You were destined to be together. This time, you would fulfill your destiny."
