| Chapter 25 Three months later. "Oh I didn't know that he was your husband. So I guess we should call you Mrs. Mun then," the lady said. Ji Hye smiled. "It's ok. You could just call me Ji Hye," she said. "Your room number is 708 and it's on Floor 7." The lady smiled and said thank you as she made her way to the elevator. "Ji Hye! There are no enough glasses for the bar!" Dong Wan called out from the stairs. "I can't help that. Tell Eric," Ji Hye said with a smile. Since about one and a half months ago, the customers in their hotel had increased to about twice the amount. "What about me?" Eric asked as he walked out of the elevator and up to the counter. He put his arms around his wife. "How's my favorite woman doing?" Ji Hye smiled. "How many women do you have?" Ji Hye asked. "One," Eric answered. Ji Hye nodded. "So most and least favorite in any ways that you think about it," Ji Hye said. Eric smiled. "But I love you!" Eric protested. Ji Hye smiled with a touch of happiness in it. "Dong Wan said that the bar is running out of glasses," Ji Hye said to Eric. Eric nodded. "I think that Tony's going out to buy it today," Eric answered. Ji Hye turned around and looked at Eric. "Question. I heard that Tony's going out with Cindi and Dong Wan is going out with Julie. Is that true?" Ji Hye asked. Eric nodded. Ji Hye groaned. "How come I'm always like the last person to know about this?" Eric smiled. "I promise that I'll tell you everything first handed next time, ok?" Eric asked. "I had the address and everything down of that place," Tony said. "What address?" Eric asked. "There's this new doctor that lives really close to us that could cure almost every type of disease," Tony said. "What's the big deal? We don't have any disease," Kai said as she walked out from behind. Tony shook his head. "They had advertisements in the newspaper," Tony explained. "The people in the market was discussing about this advertisement." "What's so much about advertisements?" Jun Jin asked. "Just advertisements. As if we didn't see a million of them." "You know what they put at the bottom of the list of disease that they could heal?" Tony asked. "What? Alzheimer's?" Dong Wan said jokingly. Tony shook his head. "It said�" *********************************************** "I miss her," Kang Ta said out loud. Brian nodded. "I know how you feel Kang Ta. Although�I never experienced what you are right now. I know that it's hard for you," Brian said. Kang Ta sighed. "I guess it's my life. I�just�If Sharon could return, I could just look at her from a far place. I don't even have to be with her. I just�want to look at her every once in a while," Kang Ta said. Suddenly, they heard someone knocking at the front door. "I got to talk to you about something, Brian. Where are the rest of the people?" Tony said. "They're upstairs. What's the matter?" Brian asked. "Tell them to come down! Jae Won asked. "I just found this advertisement while I'm in the market about this new doctor that's really close to us," Tony said. "So? What's the big deal about it?" Min Woo asked. "Not as if she or he could heal the Tears of Angels." Tony smiled. "Did you read my mind, Min Woo?" Tony asked. "What? What are you talking about?" Min Woo asked. "One of the last things on the list of things that he or she listed was the Tears of Angels. In the advertisement there was a list of things that the doctor could heal. The Tears of Angels was one of them," Tony explained. "Are you sure about this?" Jae Won asked. Tony nodded. He then dug into his pockets. "I could almost swore that I had it!" Tony exclaimed. Finally, he took a piece of paper out of his pockets. "There we go!" The people then looked at the piece of paper. "It really does say Tears of Angels," Min Woo mumbled. "Are you sure that there's not like a new disease out there that is coincidentally called Tears of Angels?" Brian asked. Tony shrugged. "I don't know. I just thought that it would be worth a try," Tony said. "How about let's just go and check it out today? I'm seriously dying of curiosity," Linna said. Min Woo smiled and gently held her hand. "It would be nice to become normal again also," Min Woo said. Linna smiled at him. "I don't care. You're who you are and you're Min Woo," Linna said. "Are you two also going out now?" Ji Hye asked. She then smacked her forehead. "I'm really the last one to know things. That's so unfair." She then glared at Eric. "I thought that you would tell me everything?" Eric held up his hands. "I didn't know this either, girl. I just found this out today with you," Eric said. "Oh," Ji Hye said. Linna and Min Woo smiled. "We have been going out not too long ago. That's why we decided that we didn't want to tell everyone yet," Min Woo explained. "Kang Ta?" Woo Hyuk called out. Kang Ta looked at him. "What's the matter?" Kang Ta shook his head and smiled gently. "Just thinking about some things," Kang Ta answered softly. "Sharon?" Woo Hyuk asked. Kang Ta nodded. Woo Hyuk sighed. "At least heal your Tears of Angels thing first. That would make Sharon happy." "Sorry." The girl smiled. "Some of the doctors is out for lunch right now," she said. "Can you just fill out these applications for us and tell us what your problem is and we'll try to get you the right doctor." "There's more than one doctor in here?" Fany asked. She nodded. "I guess we could tell you. We all came from the Island of Medications," she said. "We are all expertised in one field or another of medicine." "Oh," Gigi said. "But�where is the Island of Medications? I never heard of it before." "It's a private island," the girl answered. "By the way, my name is Danielle just in case you need any help." "Ok. Thank you," Ko Mi said. Jae Won took the four applications and handed to Danielle. "We filled this out already," Jae Won said. Danielle looked at the applications. A small smile appeared on her face. "Let me guess what your problem is," Danielle said as she looked up at Jae Won. "The Tears of Angels." Jae Won looked at her surprised. She pointed at the portion of age. "You didn't fill this out." Jae Won smiled. "I guess you're in luck. She's didn't go out for lunch yet." "The doctor you mean?" Min Woo asked. Danielle nodded. Chapter 26 "Sharon�no�It can't be�" Lami whispered when she saw the female inside. The girl smiled warmly at them. "Come in," she said as she stood up and motioned toward the sofa. "My name is Sharon." "It really is you," Kang Ta whispered. Sharon looked at him weirdly. "What are you talking about?" Sharon asked. Kang Ta shook his head. "Did you forget about everything? I don't believe that someone could forget about everything within three months," Kang Ta said. "What? What three months?" Sharon asked. She then smiled. "But it's kind of weird how you know that I lost my memories three months ago." Kang Ta looked at her in disbelief. "You lost your memories?" Kang Ta asked. Sharon nodded. "Yeah," Sharon answered. Kang Ta walked up to her slowly. "You really don't remember anything?" Kang Ta asked. Sharon looked at him questioningly. "I really don't know what you're talking about," Sharon answered. Kang Ta raised his hand and was about to touch her face when a voice from outside entered the room. "I'm back, Sharon!" a male said. He walked into the door. Kang Ta turned around and found a young man. Sharon smiled. The guy looked at Kang Ta for a while before walking up to Sharon. "What happened?" Sharon shook her head. "Nothing. You're back early today," Sharon said. He smiled. "Yeah. I don't want to tire you out," he said. "Why would this tire me out? Not too many have the Tears of Angels problem. Except today, there's four," Sharon said. She then glanced at the four people that were standing there. The guy smiled at them. "Welcome. My name is Theodore," he said. "Hi," the four answered. "I guess I'll go back to my office first," Theodore said to Sharon. He then smiled at the rest of the people. "Good luck." They smiled at him. "Who is he?" Kang Ta asked Sharon. "Oh. He's�kind of like the owner of this store. He told me that he was my fianc� when I woke up," Sharon said. Kang Ta's eyes widened. "And you believe him?" Kang Ta asked. Sharon shrugged. "I don't remember anything," Sharon answered. She then smiled at Kang Ta. "Who's first?" *********************************************** "Why is it so easy for us and so hard for Kang Ta to heal from the Tears of Angels?" Jae Won asked. Sharon shook her head. "It's pretty obvious that he has taken some kind of medicine that strengthened the life of the Tears of Angels in his body," Sharon answered. She then looked at Min Woo. "You're also a little harder to heal but not as bad as him." "Is it the burn heal that we had taken?" Min Woo asked Kang Ta. "You took a burn heal before?" Sharon asked. "What does it look like?" "It looks like a grasshopper if you're not looking carefully enough," Jun Jin said. Sharon shook her head. "That's it," Sharon answered. "I guess Kang Ta took it a little bit longer than Min Woo then, right?" Jun Jin nodded. He then looked at Kang Ta and Min Woo guiltily. "I'm sorry," Jun Jin said. Sharon shook her head again. "No need to say sorry yet. They'll heal. But they would need a longer time period and they would need me around them," Sharon said with a sigh. She then smiled at them. "Let me just go tell Theodore first." She then ran out of the door. "She's Sharon," Kang Ta said in a definite voice. Miya, Lami, Julie, and Yae Ji nodded. "I knew her for so long. I'm positive that it's her except she doesn't remember anything," Julie said. At this time, Sharon walked in. "Can I just ask if you people live too far away?" Sharon asked. "We all live in the hotel that I open. If you want, you could come and live there," Tony offered. Sharon smiled. "That would be perfect since I should spend more time with Kang Ta," Sharon said. The people looked at Kang Ta who never took his eyes off of her. *********************************************** "Kang Ta�" Sharon said softly under her breath. She rested her head on her arms that was on the windowsill and looked at the stars. The name sounded so familiar to her yet�something was preventing her from remembering the past. When she first woke up about three months ago, the people were happy. Theodore looked at her. "But it's a little too dangerous for a girl to live there by herself," Theodore said. "There's a dozen of other girls there," Sharon said as she rolled her eyes. Theodore sighed. "Ok. If you insist. But be careful, ok?" Theodore said. "I don't want anything to happen to my fianc� a few weeks before I get married to her." "Does it look familiar to you?" Eric asked suddenly. Sharon looked at him, a little surprised of this question. She, however, nodded. "It seems so familiar here," Sharon said. She then smiled. "I would even think that I had spent some time here." Her hand unconsciously went to the necklace that she was wearing and played with her. Woo Hyuk noticed this. "Sharon�do you mind if I see the necklace that you're wearing?" Woo Hyuk asked. Sharon looked at him with again, a surprised expression. "Sure," Sharon answered. She then took it off and handed it to Woo Hyuk. Woo Hyuk took it and looked at it. Sharon Chang. There was no other person in the world that would have the same exact necklace with the same exact name engraved in it. "Thank you," Woo Hyuk said as he handed the necklace back to Sharon. Sharon smiled and put the necklace back on. Woo Hyuk then looked at her, a little bit troubled. "Do you mind if I ask you a question?" "Go ahead," Sharon said. "Where did you get the necklace?" Woo Hyuk asked. "It was on me the day that I woke up and found out that I lost all my memories," Sharon answered. Woo Hyuk smiled. "That's good. At least�that serves as something that could tell you about the past," Woo Hyuk said. "I'll take you to your room now, ok, Sharon?" Ji Hye said. "I'll help you with the luggage, Sharonie. Do you mind if I call you that?" Yae Ji asked. Sharon shook her head. "Go ahead. You could call me Sharonie," Sharon answered with a smile. *********************************************** "It's her," Miya commented. They were all sitting in the bar in the hotel. The rest of the people who knew Sharon for a long period of time nodded. "How did you know?" Dong Wan asked. "She was wearing the necklace," Lami answered. "That necklace never left Sharon before. She would never part with it because she had it since she was a child." "But there could be someone else with the same exact necklace," Holly said. "There could be no one with the same exact chain with the same exact name and same exact kind of inscription in it," Yae Ji said. "And another thing," Woo Hyuk said as he buried his face in his hands. "I carved something in the back of her necklace before." The people looked at him. "I wrote there, 'My little dongseng' on her necklace when I was younger." "It was on it," Kang Ta finished for him. Woo Hyuk nodded. He then let out a little laugh. "Don't ask me why I did that at that time. I have no idea now," Woo Hyuk said. "At least now we are sure that she's Sharon," Cindi said. "But weren't we sure the minute that we saw her?" Hee Jun asked. *********************************************** "Time to drink your medicine," Sharon said in a singsong voice as she walked into the room of Kang Ta. Kang Ta greeted her with a smile. Sharon walked up to him with a smile and placed the medicine on the table next to his bed. She pulled a chair up to the bed, where Kang Ta was sitting on, and sat on it. "How do you feel today?" Kang Ta shook his head. "No feeling," Kang Ta answered. Sharon frowned. "That's not good. Oh well. I guess you'll just have to take more of the medicine," Sharon said with a smile. She then held out her hand. "Let me check your pulse and everything." Kang Ta extended his hand. He looked at her as she checked his pulse. "Sharon�" Kang Ta said softly. Sharon looked up at him. "I�" Sharon held up her hand for him to stop. She was looking at him�or was she? She suddenly jumped up and caught something from behind his head. Kang Ta looked and found out that she had caught something looked like a lizard. Sharon took out a bottle and placed it in there. She smiled at him. She then noticed that she was a little bit too close him and decided to move back but Kang Ta held on to her. "Um�Kang Ta�" "Sharon�I�" Kang Ta started off. He shook his head. "I don't know how to say this." "Just go ahead and say it," Sharon said as she looked into his eyes. She smiled. "It's so weird that I feel that I trust you. Can I ask you a question?" Kang Ta looked at her. "Did we ever meet before the day that you saw me at the office?" Kang Ta nodded. Sharon smiled and then nodded as well. "I had a feeling that we did." "You�really think that that Theodore is your fianc�?" Kang Ta asked softly. Sharon shrugged. "I told you. I don't know," Sharon answered. She then smiled mischievously. "I'll tell you a secret but you have to promise that you won't tell anyone else." "Ok," Kang Ta promised. "I don't have any feelings for him. I feel that I must be crazy before I lost my memories to be his fianc�," Sharon said. She left out the part that she felt as if it was more right and natural for Kang Ta to hold on to her like this than anything. "Sharon�He's not�" *********************************************** Chapter 27 "Sharon!" a male's voice called in. Sharon immediately pushed Kang Ta away and sat back in the seat. A shade of red slowly crawled up her face but she turned around as if nothing happened and smiled at the incoming person. "What are you doing here, Theodore?" Sharon asked. "I decided that I'll come here with you," Theodore answered with a smile as he walked up to her. He looked at Kang Ta. "So he's the person that caused you to come and live here." Sharon laughed. "It's just because he has a deeper case of the Tears of Angels," Sharon said. Theodore nodded. Theodore then stood up straight. "Well, I'll leave you with him for a while. I'll be in the room next to yours," Theodore said. Sharon nodded. She watched him walk out of the door and closing the door before turning her eyes back to Kang Ta. He was looking at her as well. Their eyes locked for a while. "I�" they both started at the same time. They then laughed. "You start first," Kang Ta said. Sharon shook her head. "You go first," Sharon said. Kang Ta shook his head. "Guys are suppose to let females," Kang Ta said. Sharon smiled. "I was just going to tell you sorry for not closing the door at the first place and that�I'm�getting married to him in about three more weeks," Sharon said. She then blushed. "I don't even know why I feel that I have to tell you." Kang Ta looked at her for a few minutes without answering her. "What if I told you that everything that he told you was a lie?" Kang Ta asked. Sharon looked up at him. "I�" she started. She stopped herself. How was she going to tell him that she believed him more than the guy that she was going to get married in another three weeks? "I�" Kang Ta shook his head. "I�.don't know how to tell you this," he said. He looked at her. "Do you know�that you was not his fianc�? You were my fianc�!" Sharon looked at him calmly. "I�" she attempted to start again. She then laughed. "Would it be weird if I told you that I�actually believe you more than I believe Theodore?" she asked in a whisper. Kang Ta shook his head. He pulled her over. "No," Kang Ta answered softly. He looked deep into her eyes. "You told me that you would always believe me. You told me that you would never doubt a thing that I told you." Sharon nodded slowly and smiled. "Sounds like something familiar," Sharon said. She then looked up at him. "But how come you're sure that I'm the girl that you're looking for?" Kang Ta gently picked up the necklace. "By this?" she asked. Kang Ta nodded. "Woo Hyuk was also sure about it," Kang Ta said. "Woo Hyuk�are you talking about that guy that�" Sharon started. She then started to laugh. "I was about to describe him as the guy that I feel as if he was my older brother." "He is your older brother," Kang Ta answered. Sharon looked at him surprised. "Are you sure about it?" Sharon asked. Kang Ta nodded. "He carved something in the back of your necklace," Kang Ta answered. Sharon smiled. "You know what? I'm almost forced to believe what you're telling me. I was wondering why it said 'My little dongseng' in the back of the necklace," Sharon said as she played with the necklace. She then frowned. "What's the matter?" Kang Ta asked. "I don't know. I feel as if I'm being very gullible," Sharon said. "Why?" Kang Ta asked. Sharon smiled. "I don't even know you that well and I'm believing every single thing that you're telling me," Sharon said. "Or am I just vulnerable?" Kang Ta shook his head. "I told you�" "I know," Sharon said. "But sometimes�It's still hard to believe." "But�" Sharon held up her hand for him to stop. "I want to talk to Theodore first," Sharon said. She then got up and smiled at Kang Ta. Sharon walked in and sat in one of the sofas. "What do you want to talk about?" Theodore asked as he dried his hair. "Were you lying to me when you told me that you were my fianc�?" Sharon asked. Theodore stopped his motions and looked at Sharon. "What are you talking about?" Theodore asked slowly and carefully. "I'm talking about our relationship. Did we even know one another before I lost my memories?" Sharon asked. "Didn't I tell you already? We grew up together," Theodore said. Sharon picked up the necklace and showed it to Theodore. "Where did I get this?" Sharon asked. "You had it since you were a baby," Theodore said. "Since I was a baby," Sharon said. "Why are these letters here?" Theodore shrugged. "It's just some design," Theodore said. Sharon shook her head slowly. "Did I ever told you that I know Korean?" Sharon asked. "It says 'My little dongseng'. Where's my brother? Or my sister? How did it get there?" "They died when you were a baby," Theodore said without looking at her. Sharon shook her head. "I can't believe that you're still lying to me right now," Sharon said. Theodore looked at her. "So what do you want now? I see that it's no use to try convincing you that I'm not lying since you're so sure that I'm lying," Theodore said coldly. "I want to know the truth," Sharon said. "There is no truth. What I told you was true but you didn't believe me," Theodore said. He then stopped and looked at Sharon. "What did that guy tell you?" "What guy?" Sharon asked. "The guy with the Tears of Angels problem," Theodore said. "It has nothing to do with him," Sharon said. Theodore smiled. "You think that I'm stupid, Sharon? I'm sure that is has something to do with him," Theodore said. "One of the other guys is my older brother. Or�at least he was able to explain how those words got to the back of the necklace," Sharon said. "Really?" Theodore said. He then leaned a little closer to Sharon. "Sharon�you already promised that you were going to be marrying me in three weeks. That's not going to change. I won't let it change and everybody at the Island would be on my side." "Yes it would change if you are lying to me. That would mean that I never promised you anything and you're taking advantage of me," Sharon said as she looked Theodore fearlessly. Theodore looked at her dangerously. "So you're going back on your own words," Theodore concluded. "I'm not," Sharon said. "I never promised you that I'm marrying you. The only thing that happened was that you told me that you were my fianc� and we are getting married." Theodore smiled. "That's right. You're a very smart girl," Theodore said. "The marriage is going to happen no matter what. Watch it happen." He got up and walked toward the bathroom. "What if I refuse to get married to you?" Sharon challenged. Theodore stopped in his tracks. He turned around and looked at Sharon. "Then you'll suffer consequences that you'll regret the cause that you had made," Theodore said. *********************************************** Chapter 28 "It is her, isn't it?" Woo Hyuk asked. Kang Ta had just told them what happened. "I suggest that we go and check the blood. Then we would be sure that they are brother and sister," Hye Sung said. Woo Hyuk shook his head. "I'm positive that it's her," Woo Hyuk said. "But that would prove it to Sharon as well," Lami pointed out. Woo Hyuk nodded slowly. "I'll do it. I believe that she's my sister and I wouldn't want anything like that to happen to her. I mean, marrying someone that she'd never known about before she lost her memory," Woo Hyuk said as he clutched his fist at the thought of Theodore tricking his younger sister. "Not only you, Woo Hyuk. If it's true that Sharon's really�Sharon, I'll go after Theodore with you," Yae Ji said. "How could he do that to Sharon? He's taking advantage of her!" "So we'll get the blood test tomorrow morning, first thing," Cindi said. "But then we have to get Theodore out of the way before we could do anything," Kai said. She then smiled. "I have an idea." *********************************************** "Are you looking for Sharon, Theodore?" Kai asked as he walked out the door of the hotel. He stopped and looked at her. "Why are you asking?" Theodore asked. Kai shrugged. "I just thought that you were looking for her. I guess you're not," Kai said. "No I am," Theodore said. "Where did she go?" "She went to the marketplace," Kai said. "Oh? What was she wearing and everything?" Theodore asked. Kai thought for a while. "I think she was wearing a yellow top and jeans," Kai answered. Theodore nodded. "Thanks," Theodore said. When he left the hotel, Kai smiled. *********************************************** On the other hand, the whole group of people was in front of the hospital that was kind of far from the hotel. Most of them were looking at Sharon and Woo Hyuk. Sharon was looking at the hospital itself as Woo Hyuk looked at her for her reaction. "What are we going here for?" Sharon asked with a smile. "I'll prove to you that you're my sister," Woo Hyuk said. They were standing in front of a hospital. Sharon looked at him. "You mean with a blood test?" Sharon asked. Woo Hyuk nodded. Sharon then nodded as well. "I guess that would be the best way to find out. *********************************************** "The results won't be in until tomorrow," Cindi said. Woo Hyuk nodded with a frown on his face. Sharon then sighed. "I guess it's ok. We're not in a rush anyway," Sharon said. "I am," Kang Ta muttered. Sharon looked at him questioningly. He looked at her. "You're getting married to that Theodore if we don't get this over and done with earlier. I don't want that to happen." Sharon laughed. "It's three weeks later," Sharon said. "That's too early for me," Kang Ta said in a tone of anger. "And that should have never happened." Sharon smiled. "And if you really is my sister, Sharon, it would never happen also," Woo Hyuk said. "I don't allow this to happen and I won't let it happen." The other people nodded in agreement to Woo Hyuk. "Don't worry, Sharon. We'll always be here to protect you with Kang Ta and Woo Hyuk," Lami said with a smile. "Well, all we have to do is wait until tomorrow," Sharon said. Kang Ta extended his arm and held on to Sharon's hand. "Can you allow me to hold on to your hand?" Kang Ta asked in a shy manner. Sharon looked at him for a while. "I'm not even sure if what you're telling me is true yet," Sharon said softly. Kang Ta smiled. "I'm sure that the results would be what we're all thinking it would be," Kang Ta said. Sharon nodded gently. "I believe you also," Sharon said with a smile. *********************************************** "Theodore?" Sharon asked as she knocked on the door, opened the door, and then peeked into the room that Theodore was staying in. There seems to as if there was no one in there. Sharon shrugged and turned around to walk out. She jumped out of being scared. "Whoa! You scared me, Theodore." Theodore smiled slightly. "You were looking for me?" Theodore asked. Sharon looked at him questioningly. "I thought that you were looking for me," Sharon asked a little bit nervously. Theodore nodded. He then walked in the room and locked the door behind him. Sharon noticed this action and walked uncomfortably to the sofa. "Yeah I was," Theodore said slowly. "That's why I'm here," Sharon said. "Do you want to drink anything?" Theodore asked softly. Sharon shook her head and slightly shivered at the tone of his voice. Theodore poured some wine into a glass and walked slowly over to the sofa that Sharon was sitting in and sat next to her. Sharon moved away from him a little. She cleared her throat and looked at him. "What did you want to talk about?" Sharon asked. Theodore smiled gently. "I thought about this for a while already," Theodore said. "About what?" Sharon asked. "You know how we are going to get married in another three weeks," Theodore said. Sharon nodded. "You know that it's not weird that the night of the newlyweds is not the first time for them in the Island, Sharon? In fat, back at the Island, it's actually common and natural for that to happen." Sharon looked at him. "What are you trying to imply there, Theodore?" Sharon asked, a little afraid about his answer. "What do you think, Sharon?" he asked. "You better not do anything, Theodore," Sharon said slowly as she backed up a little. The way that he's saying everything slowly and softly was getting on her nerves and scaring her at the same time. Theodore smiled. "What do you think that I'm going to do?" Theodore asked. "I hope that it's not what I think that you're about to do," Sharon said. "You know that it's against the law if you do something like that without my permission." "Oh but we are not from this place," Theodore said. "We are from the Island. You know that Father could change the rules for me." "But we're still in foreign lands right now and you are just a normal person to the people here, Theodore," Sharon said. Theodore shrugged. "It doesn't matter. You are my fianc�," Theodore said. He then grabbed her hand. "Let go of me!" Sharon yelled as she struggled against him. Theodore smiled. "You think that I'll let you go that easily?" Theodore asked softly. He then pulled her close to him. "Never. You're not going away from me, Sharon." He then started to kiss her on her face as she tried to push him away and screamed. *********************************************** Chapter 29 "Is it just me or that's someone screaming?" Ji Hye asked the rest of the people in the bar. "It sounds as if it came from the second floor or something. Can't be a really high level or else we can't hear it," Holly said randomly. "Isn't�that the floor Theodore is staying in right now?" Dong Wan asked. Ji Hye nodded. She then looked at them with frightened eyes. "You don't think that he�" They all then ran toward the stairs as Kai ran to the phone and dialed the number of Kang Ta's room. "Kang Ta? Go to Theodore's room right now!" *********************************************** "Let go of me!" Sharon screamed as Theodore ripped open her shirt and pulled off her pants and started to move his lips down from her lips to her neck and still further down. Suddenly, the door burst open and the people ran in. Woo Hyuk ran over and punched Theodore in the face. Theodore landed on the floor. He turned his face and glared at Woo Hyuk with blood coming out of his mouth. He then turned his glare to Kang Ta who had ran up to Sharon and was now holding on to her. "Don't ever let me see you touching my sister again," Woo Hyuk said through gritted teeth. "You can't prove that she's your sister," Theodore said. "The hospital just called. They took the blood test yesterday already. Sharon is Woo Hyuk's sister," Eugene said as she walked into the room. Theodore glared at Sharon and Woo Hyuk. "You took a blood test?" Theodore asked. "You never thought that we would do that, did you?" Woo Hyuk asked. He then went up and kicked him. "I promised that I would go after you if you tricked my sister. How dare you take advantage of my younger sister!?" He continued to punch Theodore with each word he said. "Are you ok?" Kang Ta asked Sharon. His heart ached when he saw Sharon half naked when they knocked into the room. "I don't know," Sharon said as she buried her head in Kang Ta's arms. Kang Ta embraced her and took her out of the room. On the other hand, Woo Hyuk was still beating up Theodore. "Watch out, Woo Hyuk. Don't kill him," Kai whispered to him. Woo Hyuk glared at Theodore as he stood there panting. "Get out of here," Woo Hyuk hissed at him. Theodore got up slowly and stared at all of the people in the room. "You people are going to pay for this," Theodore said as he staggered out of the room. Woo Hyuk glared at him until he's completely out of sight. "Don't ever let me see him again or else I'll make sure that he'll never see another light of day," Woo Hyuk said in a low voice. "Don't over do it Woo Hyuk. If you kill him, then you're in trouble and Sharon wouldn't like that," Kai said. *********************************************** Kang Ta looked at Sharon. They were in his room right now and Sharon was lying in his bed with her eyes opened and looking at him while he sat in the chair and held on to one of her hands. "Don't you want to rest for a while?" Kang Ta asked. Sharon shook her head. "Are you still afraid from before?" Sharon shook her head again. "I�don't know how to thank you," Sharon said. Kang Ta shook his head and smiled. "We just proved that you're Woo Hyuk's sister," Kang Ta said. He then blushed slightly. "That means that you're definitely Sharon and�my fianc�." Sharon smiled. Kang Ta then quickly added, "And besides, who would watch a girl be raped?" "I guess I should have believed it when something inside me told me that Theodore was lying to me," Sharon said. Kang Ta nodded and brushed the bangs away from her face. "I'm just glad that we came in time," Kang Ta said. Sharon nodded. "I�Can I ask for one a little favor?" Sharon asked shyly. Kang Ta nodded. "Um�can you stay by my side while I'm sleeping?" Kang Ta smiled. "I'll be more than happy to do that," Kang Ta said. *********************************************** "Kang Ta?" Woo Hyuk whispered as he walked in the room slowly. Kang Ta turned and looked at him without let go of Sharon's hand. "She just fell asleep," Kang Ta said. Woo Hyuk nodded and looked at his younger sister. "I'm just glad that we got there in time," Woo Hyuk said. Kang Ta nodded. "That was what I just told her also," Kang Ta said as he looked at Sharon and smiled. "I'm glad that we found her also." "Yeah. I'm glad that I didn't lose my sister," Woo Hyuk said with a smile. He then placed his hand on Kang Ta's shoulder. "Take good care of my sister. I'm leaving her all to you now." Kang Ta smiled at him. "You know that I'll be more than willing to do that," Kang Ta said. "I've been waiting to be with her for such a long time already." He then sighed. "I just can't believe that we would have to suffer so much before we get to be together." Woo Hyuk nodded. "It depends on the two of you. Do you want to let her remember everything first or do you just want to get married and then get it over with?" Woo Hyuk asked with a raised eyebrow. Kang Ta chuckled and looked back at Sharon. "It depends on the girl," Kang Ta said. *********************************************** Sharon opened her eyes and looked at Kang Ta. He had fallen asleep while he was looking after her. She smiled gently and touched his hair. "I just wish that I could remember the past earlier. I have a feeling that I loved you really much, no?" she asked softly. She then looked at the ceiling and thought about the things that had happened to her within the last three months. She had first woken up and found out that she didn't remember anything, including her name. The only thing that was left was the necklace that was still on her neck. Everyone around her seemed to be happy about her awaking. The first person that rushed to her side was Theodore. He asked about her name and everything but then she told him that she had lost her memory. Instead of being upset, he seemed to be happy. He told her that he was her fianc�. What could she do but believe him when she had nothing else in her mind except she was there in a place that she didn't remember? Everyone went along with this story and told her that she was his fianc�. They all told her that they were going to get married within four months and that was that. She had no chance to find out if all of this was true because nobody would tell her anything. She never told any of them that she knows Korean. She pretended that she only knew how to speak English, since she was a little skeptical about what she was told. In fact, the wedding was postponed till four months later because she used her injury as her excuse. They were about to let them get married a month after she woke up. They believed her. They believed that she didn't know anything about the past and was totally believing in what they said. They taught her medicines and different types of healings. She felt interested in the Tears of Angels the time that they asked her to choose a form of healing to specialized in. At this time, she looked at Kang Ta again. Maybe it was because of him that she had choose to learn about the Tears of Angels and how to heal it. She then smiled. She was so glad that she had chosen the right path. She was trained to the healing of the Tears of Angels, the parts of the Tears of Angels, and the symptoms of the Tears of Angels. It turned out that the healing of the Tears of Angels was really close to the fruit that caused it. The leaves of the Tears of Angels are the things that could cause the Tears of Angels to lose its power. Kang Ta�the burn heal had caused the Tears of Angels to strengthened it's power. Over dosage of the leaves could leave some kind of side effects�she doesn't want that to happen. That's why she never did it. It seems as if she's forced to now because the reactions of the medicine did not occur at all. Sharon then sighed. Kang Ta slowly opened his eyes and looked at Sharon. "You're awake?" Kang Ta asked. Sharon nodded. "Did I wake you up?" Sharon asked. Kang Ta smiled. "I heard you sigh. Why?" Kang Ta asked. "I'm just thinking about some things," Sharon answered. She then shook her head. "It's nothing important. Don't worry about it." "What concerns you is important to me. Tell me," Kang Ta said. "It's concerning you, not me," Sharon said. "I'm just worried about the Tears of Angels in you. I don't know if I would be able to heal it." "I'm sure that you would be able to. I trust you," Kang Ta said. "What if I can't?" Sharon asked. "Then I'll make you eat the Tears of Angels also so you could never leave me," Kang Ta joked. Sharon laughed. "You sure about that? Don't you want some other pretty girls to surround you instead of this one?" Sharon asked. Kang Ta shook his head. "I only want you," Kang Ta said. Sharon smiled. "I guess I'll have to find some living things to do the work on then," Sharon said. "When you get better," Kang Ta said. "Not right now. You're too weak." "I just got scared by Theodore. There's nothing to it," Sharon said. Kang Ta shook his head. "You have to listen to me, ok?" Kang Ta said. Sharon stuck her tongue out at him. "You're mean," Sharon said. "I'm just worried about you," Kang Ta said. Sharon smiled. "I know. I'm worried about you also. That's why I want to find the cure to the Tears of Angels," Sharon said. She then blushed. "Am I being to straightforward?" Kang Ta smiled. "You were always like that," Kang Ta said. "Don't worry about it." He then kissed her on the forehead. "That's what I like about you." *********************************************** Chapter 30 "Good morning Sharon," Ji Hye greeted. She then walked out from behind the counter and smiled as she walked up to Sharon. "I'm so glad that you're back." Sharon smiled. "Thanks," Sharon said. "You know that all of us missed you," Ji Hye said. She then sighed. "I guess especially Kang Ta and Woo Hyuk. They were just going crazy looking all over for you, Sharon. I thought that they were going to go crazy any minute." Sharon smiled. "I'm sorry about it," Sharon said. Ji Hye shook her head. "You don't have to be," Ji Hye said. "It's all Celine's fault." "Celine�" Sharon whispered. "I'm sorry. I don't think that I should mention her again to you," Ji Hye said. Sharon shook her head. "I think that her name actually triggered something," Sharon said. "Did�she look exactly like me?" Ji Hye nodded excitedly. "Do you remember anything else?" Ji Hye asked. Sharon shook her head. Ji Hye sighed. "I just hope that you could remember everything soon." Sharon nodded. "I hope that would happen also," Sharon said. *********************************************** Gigi looked at Jae Won from behind. He had forgotten to close his door again. He was looking out the window, deep in thought again. Gigi walked up slowly to him. How come she could never get him out of her mind? At this time, Jae Won sensed some movement and turned around. He smiled when he caught sight of Gigi. "Hi. You're up late," Jae Won said. Gigi smiled slightly. "You too," Gigi said. Jae Won let out a chuckle. "Just have too much things in mind for me to go to sleep on peace," Jae Won said. Gigi walked a little closer to him. "Like what?" Gigi asked with a smile. Jae Won shook his head. "About Kang Ta, Sharon, and everyone else around me. Theodore threatened to get back on us. Who knows what the maniac would do?" Jae Won said. Gigi shook her head. "We can't do anything about it except to be careful about everything," Gigi said. Jae Won nodded. He then looked at her quietly for a few minutes. Gigi stood there and looked back at him. She suddenly lowered her head and blushed. "Jae Won�I want to ask you something." Jae Won nodded. "Go ahead," Jae Won said gently. Gigi thought for a while before opening her mouth again. "Do you�remember about two months ago?" Gigi asked. "That time when we met in the garden behind the castle?" Jae Won nodded and smiled. "Of course I would remember," Jae Won said as he looked back out the window. The day when he confessed to her that he had feelings for her. "Were you for real when you said that you liked me also?" Gigi asked slowly. Jae Won nodded without hesitating. "I was not lying to you," Jae Won said. He looked back at her. "I�can't bear to lie to you and I don't think that I could, ever." Gigi nodded and smiled happily. "But�that time you said that you couldn't be with me. Because of the Tears of Angels. But now�the Tears of Angels is healed within you," Gigi said. She then blushed again. "Am I being�pushy, Jae Won?" Jae Won shook his head. "No. No. I know what you're talking about. And I know that you're not the kind of girl to hide everything," Jae Won said. Gigi nodded. "I�I don't know," Gigi said as she turned around and let her back face Jae Won. "I admit that I like you. I�just don't know if you really meant it that day." "Gigi�Trust me that I won't say something that I don't mean at all," Jae Won said. He then sighed. "You know that�I really want you as a girlfriend. I'm just afraid about the side effects that the cure for the Tears of Angels would have." Gigi turned around again. "I don't care. I just want to be with you, Jae Won. I love you," Gigi said in a whisper. Jae Won pulled her near to him. "I love you too Gigi. I'm just afraid that I might�become a burden to you," Jae Won said. "What if there's some kind of weird side effects to the Tears of Angels? I'll probably become this monster that�can't be controlled." Gigi shook her head. "I told you that I don't care. I don't think that Sharon, Linna, or Holly would ever care about the appearance or side effects of the thing. We love you people for you people. That could never change, Jae Won. Just like Sharon loved Kang Ta that much, Linna and Min Woo, and Holly and Brian. I love you. I don't want to part with you. I don't care if you become a monster. I just know that I love you," Gigi said. Jae Won smiled and touched her face. "And you just reminded me," Jae Won said. "I feel that the four of us is so lucky to have you four girls next to us." Gigi smiled and rested her head on his chest. "I love you Jae Won," Gigi said. Jae Won nodded. "I love you too," Jae Won said. He then sighed. "I'm just glad that the obstacle between us seems to have disappeared." *********************************************** "I don't want you to take the risk," Sharon said quietly. Kang Ta shook his head. "I don't care. I'm going to risk my life to have a chance to be with you. I don't want to suffer the thought of seeing you die in front of me and then live on another thousand of years just to reminisce the times that we had together," Kang Ta said. Sharon shook her head. "You don't understand. I can't even say that I have complete knowledge about the plant," she said. She shook her head again. "I'll do the experiment on other living things first." Kang Ta then nodded. "Sharon," Kang Ta said as he pulled her closer to him. "I don't want you to leave me again." Sharon nodded. "I don't think that I want to leave you again also," Sharon said with a small smile. Throughout these few days, the people told her a lot about her past and she seemed to have remembered most of the details of what had happened. *********************************************** "Hi. Welcome to our hotel. May I help you?" Ji Hye said to the lady that walked into the hotel that day. The lady looked up and Ji Hye momentarily froze when she saw the look in the lady's eyes. The coldness was to the extreme! "Where is Sharon?" she asked. "Excuse me?" Ji Hye asked. She was afraid that she heard the wrong thing. "Where is Sharon?" she repeated. Ji Hye then recovered and looked at her. "Why are you asking?" Ji Hye asked. The lady let out a cold laugh. "You must be part of that group that attacked my son. I want to see my future daughter in law," the lady said. "I think that you got the wrong person," Ji Hye said. "Is that how you treat customers? I could imagine how you treat other people," she said. Ji Hye shook her head. "This store belongs to my husband and me. I usually don't choose what kind of customers walk in but you are not even here to be a customer. You are here to harm one of my friends and I don't allow that to happen," Ji Hye said. The lady let out another cold laugh. "What have you got to say about what I'm going to do?" she said. Ji Hye let out a cold laugh as well. "I just know that your son, which I suppose is Theodore, tried to rape Sharon. Sharon is my friend and the fianc� of my friend. I'm not going to let that happen in my hotel and I will never let that happen," Ji Hye said. "Fianc�? My son is the fianc� of Sharon," the lady said. Ji Hye shook her head. "You got that wrong, lady. Sharon's fianc� is Kang Ta. We all know that. Before Sharon lost her memory, she never knew a guy by the name of Theodore," Ji Hye said. "What have you to prove that she's the girl that you knew before she lost her memory?" she demanded. "Lady, her brother is here and recognized the necklace," Ji Hye said. She shook her head again. "I have a feeling that we're not going to get anywhere with this talk. May I ask you to leave instantly." The lady laughed as she turned around and walked out of the door. "What was that?" Holly asked as she walked out of the back. "The mother of Theodore," Ji Hye answered. "What does she want? There's nothing that we could do for her. Tell her to leave and never return again," Kai said. "I have a feeling that she's a stubborn and scary figure," Ji Hye said as she shook her head. "I think we better talk to Sharon about this." *********************************************** "Elizabeth? She came?" Sharon asked in surprise. Her face then became sadder. "Why can't they just leave me alone?" "Elizabeth? That's the name of the lady?" Ji Hye asked. Sharon nodded. "She's the mother of Theodore. She was�treating me not that nicely when I first woke up," Sharon said slowly. "In other words, she was an evil woman," Yae Ji said. Sharon smiled bitterly. "What could I do?" Sharon asked. "I was in their hands." The people nodded. "I think that we better look out for that lady.
