| **Author's Note** : Oh yeah�Don't mind me about the compliments�As you know�I can never put myself too ugly (which is the truth) or else it wouldn't really sound right in the fic�*runs away before gracie could smack her*� [Fic] Eternity; A Thousand Feelings Prologue *circa 520 AD* She looked at his beautiful face in the most way for a few minutes under the candlelights� To her, it seems as if the time was passing too fast� The memories from what seemed like yesterday flooded back to her in her mind as she remembered his smile, his moves, the brightness of his eyes� This beautiful creature was born to break oh so many girls' hearts� Including herself� Suddenly, her facial expressions turned from full of love to full of hatred. "You�It was you," she said. "It was you who did this to me!!!!" she screamed. Apparently, he was drugged� She gave out a maniacal laugh. "You forgot� you would have scars once hurt...Although�it would never pain as much as the scars in my heart�" With that, she took a torch and slowly carried it up to his face� She cruelly watched the flames eat into the flesh� Chapter 1 *In Korea, circa 2000 AD* "Yae Ji~!!!!" Sharon said from below the stairs. "You better quick up or else we would leave without you!!!" "No~! You cannot leave without me!" Yae Ji said as she appeared from above the stairs. "And you didn't say anything, Moon Hee Jun!?" She stared at her boyfriend. Hee Jun looked at her innocently. "What?" Hee Jun asked. "I didn't do anything. She thought of it while she was calling you. She didn't even tell me her plans." "Good. If I find out that you joined her to think of this plan so that you could go to England to get some chicks, you're dead meat," Yae Ji said. Hee Jun flashed her his famous killer smile that won over many girls' hearts. "You're the only one that I want. Trust me on that," Hee Jun said. Sharon started to shiver. "Oh God! Spare me already!!!" Sharon complained. Hee Jun stuck out his tongue at her. "Yo! You people ready or not?" Hye Sung asked as he looked into the house from the front door. "Woo Hyuk's getting a little impatient at the car." "Tell him in a couple of seconds," Yae Ji said. Hye Sung called out to Woo Hyuk what she just said. "ONE! TWO!" Woo Hyuk called back. "Tell him to be quiet," Yae Ji said as she took her luggage down the stairs. "She's ready!" Hye Sung called out the door instead. *********************************************** "Will all passengers please fasten their seatbelts as we prepare for landing in London, England�" the voice from the intercom said. "Finally," Julie said as she stretched. "Hey! Are we going to rest or are we going to go to look around first." Miya shrugged. "I don't know. I want to go first see oppa first," Miya said with a smile. "It's such a long time since I did a prank on him or something." The other people laughed. "True. He moved there for so long," Lami said. "I heard that he opened a store with this other guy, Eric's his name?" Hye Sung asked. Miya nodded. "It's actually a small hotel. He said that we could live there while we're in England," Miya explained. "Hey! The place that you described, it's actually near this really, really old castle," Sharon said as she looked at the map. Julie peered at the map that Sharon was looking at. "Oh yeah!" Julie said. "That's cool. I guess we don't have to look all over for ancient traces then." *********************************************** *In England* "Hey! My sister and her friends is coming over today," Tony said to the rest of the people. "That's cool," Eric answered as he stopped wiping the table and looked at Tony. "Is she going to be staying here for long?" Ji Hye asked. "Yeah. She's probably going to stay here for a couple of weeks or months or whatever. She and her friends never make up their minds," Tony said as he sat down in the sofa. "Oh well," Jun Jin said. "It's your sister. By the way, I think I better go out for a while." "Why?" Dong Wan asked. "I need to tell my friend that I won't be able to go over to where he live tonight," Jun Jin said. "Should we cook your share of dinner?" Kai asked. "Yeah sure. Why not?" Jun Jin said with a smile. *********************************************** *In a nearby place* Jun Jin took about twenty minutes of walking and he reached the place where he wanted to go to. He walked up to the front gate leisurely as if he had done that for many times. In the place, Jun Jin walked up the stairs and to the front of the door of a room with such familiarity that it seems as if he lived there himself. He knocked on the door. "Come in," a voice from the inside answered. Jun Jin opened the door. Inside the room, there were four people. Two of them were standing and two of them were sitting. One was sitting behind a desk and the other one was looking out the window. Behind the desk, hung a painting of an extremely beautiful young man. "Hey~!" Jun Jin said cheerfully as he sat down in one of the chairs. "You are early today," one of them who were standing - Brian - said. "Yeah. I need to tell you that I won't be able to come here tonight because the sister of my friend and her friends are coming over to England tonight," Jun Jin said. The one looking out the window nodded. "That's ok," he said. "Are you angry at me, Kang Ta?" Jun Jin asked. The person looking out the window - Kang Ta - chuckled. "Why would I be angry at you for this?" Kang Ta asked as he stood up and faced Jun Jin. His features were not really noticeable. "I don't know. I feel as if I'm breaking a promise that I would come and talk to you people every night," Jun Jin explained. A hand patted his shoulders. He turned around. Jae Won. "Don't worry about it," Jae Won said with a smile. "Finish whatever you have to do," the other one that was sitting behind the desk - Min Woo - said. "Ok," Jun Jin said with a smile. "So I'll go now, ok?" The people nodded. *********************************************** "You think that I wanted to take care of that nuisance? As far as I'm concerned, she could stay in Korea or somewhere," Tony was saying. He suddenly felt a smack on his head. "Oww�" Tony moaned as he turned around to see who dared to smack him. "Miya?" Miya smirked. "Nuisance eh?" Miya said as she threw her luggage on top of Tony. "Well guess what? You're stuck with this nuisance for a couple of months!" Tony groaned. "Do you have to?" Tony asked. "Yes. Because of what you said," Miya said with a grin. She looked at the rest of the people in the room. "Hi! My name is Eric and I own this store with your oppa," Eric said. He pulled Ji Hye over. "This is my girlfriend Ji Hye." "Hi! I'm Dong Wan." "And I'm Kai." "Hi! I'm Miya as you might have known from my so called wonderful oppa," Miya said. Tony murmured something to himself as grabbed the keys and Miya's luggage and carried them to the room that she was going to be staying at. "And these are my friends." She indicated to the people who were standing behind her. They all greeted one another. "Hi! Well, we're not the only ones that you are going to meet. The rest of the people would be here tonight," Ji Hye explained. "Cool! It seems as if we would be really good friends!" Miya said with a smile. *********************************************** *Night* "A thousand years?" a person said to another. "No. A thousand years plus one. Adding one hour and twenty minutes," the other one answered. "Oh," the other one said with a chuckle. "Seems like you remember the exact time." "As if you don't?" the second one said. "I'll never forget it. Five hundred one years ago�plus five hours and thirty-four minutes," the first one replied as he looked toward the moon. "I think that all four of us would always remember the time that it happened," a third voice said. "Of course�What about you two?" the second voice asked. "A thousand four hundred seventy-nine years ago," the third voice answered. "Plus�twenty minutes and forty-three seconds," a fourth voice added to the last one's answer. *********************************************** Chapter 2 "What are we going to eat tonight?" Miya asked as he threw a pillow at Tony. He caught the pillow. "We're going to eat you," Tony said as he threw the pillow back at Miya. Miya stuck out her tongue at him. "We're going to cook when the other girls come over to help," Holly answered. She worked in the hotel for Tony and Eric. She's Miya and Tony's best friend since a young age. "Other girls?" Ko Mi asked. Ji Hye nodded. "Yeah. It's Dong Wan's sister and her friend," Ji Hye explained. "Hey! Would we be able to go out tonight?" Sharon asked excitedly. She wanted to see the views in England, especially that castle that wasn't too far off from this hotel. "Hm�I don't think so because I heard that tonight would be pretty foggy compared to the other days," Tony explained. Sharon nodded. "But you could still go out if you are careful." Sharon smiled. "Tony oppa! Eric oppa! We're here!" they suddenly hear a female's voice from behind. The people turned around and saw Dong Wan with two really pretty girls. "Hey Eugene! And how are you today, Sea?" Tony asked. "Pretty good!" one of the girls said. She looked over at Miya who was standing next to Tony. "That's your sister?" Tony looked at Miya and then nodded with a grimace. Miya smacked him on his arm. "You two�don't look that much alike," the other girl said. "I know," Miya said. "I look better than he does." Tony glared at her. "Anyways, my name is Sea," the first girl said. "And I'm Eugene, Dong Wan's sister," the second girl said with a really pretty smile. "I'm Miya and these are my friends," Miya said. The other people introduced themselves. From the door, suddenly, Jun Jin walked in and blinked his eyes in confusion of so many people. "Hey Jun Jin! Let me introduce you do this nuisance who is unfortunately for me my sister," Tony called out at him. Miya turned around and saw him. Major cutie, man! "Hi!" Jun Jin said with a brilliant smile for Miya. "Hi!" Miya said, a little nervously as she flashed a smile back. He looks so cute when he smiles� "I'm Jun Jin and I work here with Tony and Eric," Jun Jin said. "I'm Miya and I don�t know why I was related to a monkey," Miya said. Everyone laughed. *********************************************** "Are you sure you are going to go out tonight? I mean it's so late, Sharon," Kai said. "They say that the fog would block most of the vision tonight and you might get lost." Sharon smiled. "I don't think that I would. Don't worry about it," Sharon said. "And this place is like�right in the middle of no where," Miya complained. "You might get lost in the forest or something." "What do you mean in the middle of no where? I take pride of my hotel with Eric," Tony protested. "I'm criticizing your portion of the hotel, not Eric oppa's," Miya said. "Anyways�I'll be back as soon as possible and I'll try not to go so far that I can't see anything ok?" Sharon asked. "Oh well," Eric said. "If you insist on going." "Just don't stroll to far off and come back earlier," Woo Hyuk said to his younger sister. Sharon nodded. "I know that oppa," Sharon said. "See you people later!" *********************************************** The moon was so beautiful that night. It seems as if the fog decided to go away and not come after all. Besides, it's not really a good idea to believe what the people say on the news. That was of course what Sharon was thinking. Without noticing it, she strolled further and further away from the hotel. When she realized that she was to the point that she couldn't see the hotel anymore, there was already a thin curtain of fog in the air. "Oh well. It doesn't seem that the fog would come so early. I'll start going back after five minutes," Sharon thought to herself as she walked still further away from the hotel. Five minutes later, the fog was so thick that it was almost to the point that it was impossible to see what was in front. Just before the vision was totally impossible, she saw a figure ahead with light. That seems to be like a house or something. She ran up to it and felt the front. It was a door. She knows it because she felt the ring that you were suppose to use to tap the door to notify the people inside. She tapped on the door. Nobody came out. She tried still a second time. It wasn't that she wanted to bother the people inside but the fog was so big that it was impossible to reach the hotel. As fast as the fog came, it doesn't seem that it would go away as fast. *********************************************** "Should we open the door for her?" a person asked the other one as he looked out the window that the second one was looking out of. A lamp was placed not too far that supplied the light for the room. "Why?" a third person in the room asked. "She's not going to reach wherever she wants to go tonight," the first one answered. "The fog would not be going away for too early." "That's true," the third one said as he nodded. "Do you think we should?" the first one asked the second person. He was the one who makes the decisions. He gently nodded. *********************************************** Sharon tried for the third time. If no one comes, she thinks that she would just stay in front of the door so that at least she wouldn't in the middle of a forest where she could be carried off by some animal. She slowly lowered her body and sat down in front of the door with her back leaning on the door. She felt the door slid backwards gently so she turned around and looked as the door allowed the light from the inside to pour out. "You were knocking on the door?" the guy who had opened the door asked. He was actually an Asian. "Yes," Sharon answered. "I was just wondering if I could stay for the night because of the fog." The person nodded. "If you aren't afraid of the fact that there's only four guys in here," he said. Sharon thought for a while. She really didn't have other choices did she? She slowly shook her head. "I don't think that I have reasons to be afraid�" Sharon said as she peered at his face. "You don't seem to be a bad person though." He laughed softly. "Don't judge a person by how he looks," he said. Sharon nodded and then smiled at him. "I'll take you to a room in here." Sharon nodded again. They walked up the stairs and through what seemed like a maze to Sharon. "You seem pretty young." Sharon thought for a while. "I guess I am young," Sharon said and then she laughed a little. "I'm seventeen anyways." The guy nodded. "Young. Very young," he said. "What were you doing so late out? Wouldn't your parents be worried?" "I'm here as a tourist. I'm living at my friend's brother's hotel and then I decided to look at the views tonight but then the fog came when I thought that it wouldn't," Sharon explained. The guy nodded. Sharon looked at him again. "You seem pretty young yourself." The guy smiled gently and somewhat bitterly and didn't say anything so Sharon decided not to ask anymore. Finally, they came up to the front of a door. The guy opened the door and allowed Sharon to walk in. "You may stay in here tonight. Is it ok with you? If you don't like it, we still have other rooms to choose from." Sharon shook her head, turned around, and looked at the guy. "It's so elegant and everything in here. Why wouldn't I like it? Besides, I'm asking for a favor so how can I ask for more?" Sharon asked. The guy smiled. "If there's anything you need, just call me," he said. He then proceeded to walk out the door. "Wait!" Sharon called out. He stopped and looked at her. "I don't know what to call you by yet." He smiled and realized that he had forgotten something. "My name is Brian," he said. "And yours?" "Sharon." *********************************************** "What happened?" Jae Won asked as he looked at Brian walk into the room. "She needed a place to stay overnight," Brian said as he sat down in the sofa. "She seems to be pretty young," Min Woo concluded. Brian nodded. "Seventeen," Brian answered. "What was she doing out so late?" Min Woo asked. "I thought that most parents are really protective about their children." "She's a tourist," Brian answered. "Oh," Min Woo said. "Do you think that she would be one of the people that Jun Jin was talking about this afternoon?" Jae Won asked as he stirred the four cups of coffee and gave one to each person in the room. "Maybe. She said that she's living at her friend's brother's hotel," Brian said. He looked at the coffee that was placed in front of him and thanked Jae Won before he continued. "I think that I'll go out and buy some supplies tomorrow. We're running out." "I'll go with you," Min Woo said. Brian nodded. "You want to go out, Kang Ta hyung?" Jae Won asked. Kang Ta shook his head as he continued to observe the world outside. "You never went out for a long time already." "If I stay here, it's one day. If I go out, it's another day. It really makes no difference to me, Jae Won," Kang Ta said. "But at least you could get some fresh air," Jae Won said. Kang Ta laughed. "I don't need it anymore�I didn't need it for a long, long time already," Kang Ta said as he pulled off the cloak that was over his head and looked at his reflection from the window. *********************************************** Chapter 3 "What do we need?" Min Woo asked as they walked to the marketplace. "Everything," Brian said with a smile. Min Woo punched him playfully on his arm. "Are you sure that we would need these things?" Min Woo asked as he looked at some of the food that Brian was carrying. "If we aren't going to eat it, we have that girl to eat it," Brian commented. "She's the eating type?" Min Woo asked. Brian laughed. "Not really. I don't know. Some people look skinny but they eat a lot," Brian said. It was then Min Woo's turn to laugh. Suddenly, something hit the back of Brian's head. Brian turned around and saw a girl looking at him in apology. "I'm sorry!" the girl called over. She then glared at the girl that was standing not too far off from Brian and Min Woo and was laughing hard. "It's all your fault Kai!" "What!? You were the one who threw the orange!" Kai said. "Well you didn't have to duck!" the girl said. "And let you hit my head? I have a brain, Holly," Kai said. "At least catch it and not let it hit someone else's head," Holly said. Kai laughed happily. Brian smiled and shook his head as he looked at the two girls. Holly blushed. Just her luck to hit a cutie's head. What would he think about her now? "Are you ready to leave, Brian?" Min Woo asked. Brian turned around and nodded. Holly continued to look at the place where Brian disappeared. So that's his name? Brian is it? "Hey! Earth to Holly!" Kai said as she waved her hand in front of Holly's face. "Is your soul back?" Holly snapped back. "Stop it Kai!" Holly said. "Uh huh. And let you look after that cute guy like crazy right?" Kai said with a mischievous smile. Holly stuck out her tongue at Kai. *********************************************** Sharon opened her eyes as the sunshine poured into the room. "Wow! This room is big!" was Sharon's first thought when she saw the room. It was pretty dark to see how the room looked last night and she was too tired to notice anyways. She went into the bathroom. "Whoa! This is not just big. It's huge. The owner must be rich." After a while, she walked down the stairs and she was greeted with the wonderful smell of food. She saw three people downstairs. "Good morning," Brian said. "Good morning," Sharon replied with a smile. "Did you sleep well?" Brian asked as he motioned for her to sit down at the dining table. Sharon nodded. "Thanks," Sharon said. Brian nodded. She then looked around. "Eh? I thought that you said that there were four guys?" Brian nodded again. "Yeah, there is," Brian said. "I only see three?" Sharon said. Brian smiled. "He's upstairs. He doesn't really like to get out of his room," Brian explained. Sharon nodded in understanding. "This is Min Woo and this is Jae Won." They greeted one another and ate the breakfast. "You know Jun Jin?" Min Woo asked as he ate his breakfast, breaking the silence that had developed. Sharon looked at him in surprise. "Yes," Sharon answered. "You know him?" Min Woo nodded and smiled. "Knew him for pretty many years in fact," Min Woo answered. "Cool!" Sharon said. "Are you going to go back to the hotel? Or do you want to stay here for a few more days so that we could show you around?" Brian asked. Sharon thought for a while. "Sure! Why not?" Sharon answered. "But I think I better go back and tell the people that I'm with you people or else they are going to get all worried about me." Brian nodded. "How do you like England so far?" Jae Won asked. "I like it pretty much," Sharon answered. She then thought of something. "You people are Asian right?" They nodded. "All of us are," Min Woo answered. Sharon nodded. These people are all so good-looking. She was now kind of curious about the guy that she didn't see yet� *********************************************** "Sharon!" Woo Hyuk called out when he saw her walk through the door of the hotel. He ran over to her. "Where did you go!?" "It got too foggy for me go come back, oppa," Sharon explained. "I'm going to strangle you next time you disappear like that," Woo Hyuk said. Sharon smiled that she had such a protective older brother. "Oh yeah! Can I go to stay with these people that I met last night? They offered to take me around," Sharon said. "Do you know how dangerous that would be?" Woo Hyuk asked in disapproval. "Yeah but they know Jun Jin oppa," Sharon said. Jun Jin looked up. Sharon looked at him. "You know those four people, right?" Jun Jin nodded. "You met them? Even Kang Ta?" Jun Jin asked surprised. "Kang Ta?" Sharon asked. Never heard of him�hm�could he be the guy that didn't come down? "I just met Min Woo, Jae Won, and Brian." Jun Jin nodded. "Who's Kang Ta?" "Never mind," Jun Jin said quickly. "Don't worry about it." "Who is he?" Sharon asked, getting curious. "Don't worry about it," Jun Jin said. He looked up. Good! There was help! "Miya! Can I talk to you for a while?" Miya had just come down from the elevators. She looked at Jun Jin and turned a little red but quickly recovered and nodded. Sharon looked after Jun Jin weirdly. Oh well�But her curiosity was killing her a little� *********************************************** Kang Ta looked out of the window. The sun was shining brightly for it was noontime. Min Woo, Jae Won, and Brian had decided to go out for a little walk. He, as usual, stayed back. The sun that always shined there. The trees were there year after year. At one point of time, they would all be gone. But there are some things that would never go away�for example, the pains and� The echoes of the sudden knocking from the door downstairs caught his attention. He debated in his head for a while about whether or not he should go answer the door. After a while, a second echo came and he decided to go and open the door. He walked down the stairs and reached the door. For that instance, he stopped again. Would he scare the person out there? He was pretty sure that it was that girl from last night because Brian, Min Woo, and Jae Won had mentioned that she was coming over again. She never saw him before�would she be frightened of him? The third knocking came and he finally gathered up his courage and opened the door slightly. As he had thought, it was a girl. Whether it was the girl from yesterday or not, however, he wasn't that sure. Sharon looked up and saw a guy that she couldn't quite see the face of. Was he Kang Ta? Her curiosity was growing bigger by the second. She decided that half of the fault was that guy's since he was covering some portion of his face with the cloak. She could only see a little bit of his face. Some of his hair was also covering his face, since his head was turn to the side. The most she could see was probably just the tip of his nose. "Hi! Is Brian, Min Woo, or Jae Won here?" Sharon asked with a friendly smile. Kang Ta shook his head. "They went out," Kang Ta answered. Sharon was surprised by the sound of his voice. Not that it sounded bad but in fact, this guy had a really, really nice voice! "Oh�Is it ok if I come in and wait for them? Or do I wait outside?" Sharon asked. Kang Ta glanced at her. "You can come in if you like," Kang Ta said as he widened the entrance of the door. Sharon walked in. "I didn't see you this morning�" Sharon said. Kang Ta didn't answer although something made Sharon feel that he was actually listening to what she was saying. "Are you that person that Brian said doesn't like to come out that much?" Kang Ta stopped for a while and then finally nodded. Sharon nodded. She's trying to guess how he looks like but it's pretty hard when she only saw a little of his nose. The two of them sat on the sofa. Kang Ta had decided to stay. He knew that it would be kind of rude to leave her all by herself when he was the owner of the place. There was silence. There were so many questions in Sharon's head but she was afraid to ask them. She glanced at him every once in a while. Wouldn't it be nice if she could only see how he looked like? She knew that curiosity is not good but she couldn't control the curiosity. "Is your name Kang Ta?" Sharon asked. Kang Ta was surprised. Did Jun Jin tell her his name? He, however, nodded to Sharon's question. Sharon thought for a while. "Nobody told me your name�straight out that is," Sharon said. "It kind of slipped out from Jun Jin oppa because he thought that I saw you yesterday." Kang Ta nodded. Then, the front door opened� *********************************************** Chapter 4 "Kang Ta?" Jun Jin said in surprise. Kang Ta glanced up at him. Sharon stared at Jun Jin and then at Kang Ta and then back at Jun Jin again. Jun Jin looked at Kang Ta. He never walked down the stairs for how many years???? "They aren't back yet," Kang Ta said. Sharon couldn't help but wished that he would talk more. The more she thought about it, the more she liked listening to his voice. He, however, just said less than five sentences since she walked in the door. Jun Jin nodded. He walked over and sat in the sofa. There was silence again� "So�" Sharon said, attempting to break the silence. She looked at the two of them to see if she was annoying any of them yet. They don't look annoyed. In fact, they are actually paying attention to her. Jun Jin she was sure but Kang Ta�she just has this feeling that he was listening to her but she doesn't know why�"How did the two of you meet?" Jun Jin looked at Kang Ta for approval. Kang Ta nodded. "We�met in the backyard of here," Jun Jin said. Sharon nodded. "When I was very young." "Just you?" Sharon said with a smile. "I would think that it's the two of you since Kang Ta looks young." "Yeah�um�yeah�I guess," Jun Jin stuttered. He cleared his throat and looked at Kang Ta. Kang Ta had a really bitter smile on his face. "You know this place already, right, Jun Jin?" Kang Ta said as he stood up. Sharon looked at him. She still couldn't see his face. Jun Jin nodded. "I guess that I would since I have been here for more than ten years," Jun Jin answered. Kang Ta nodded. "I'm going back to the room. Just help me introduce things to�" Kang Ta suddenly stopped. He just found out that he doesn't know the girl's name. Jun Jin looked at Sharon. Sharon looked at the two of them a little confused. Then, it hit her. "My name is Sharon." Kang Ta glanced at her again without letting her see his face again. He then nodded. "Jun Jin would show you around for me until Brian and the others come back, ok?" Kang Ta answered. Sharon nodded. Kang Ta then walked up the stairs. After a while, Sharon heard a sound of the door closing from upstairs. "So�what do you want to know about this place?" Jun Jin asked. He really didn't know what Kang Ta wanted Sharon to know and what he wouldn't want her to know. Great of him to leave this job to him. "Kang Ta�He's pretty young, right?" Sharon asked. That got Jun Jin off the track. "Um�how old do you think he looks?" Jun Jin asked. Sharon thought for a while. "I would think he's about the same age as you are," Sharon answered. "Whatever age you think he looks like," Jun Jin said with a nervous smile. "Oh," Sharon answered. As if that would answer her question. Anyways, other questions. "There's only the four of them in here?" Jun Jin nodded. "This look like a pretty old place." "It is," Jun Jin answered. "This is the old castle that you people were talking about in the hotel. They just added some more modern furniture and everything." Sharon's eyes widened. "Are you for real? I thought that government owned this?" Sharon asked. "They have been living here for quite a long time already and this castle is more like a hideout for the royalties for vacations and stuff that they don't really care," Jun Jin explained. Jun Jin then stood up and started to show her around the castle. When he came in front of a room, he suddenly stopped walking and turned toward Sharon. �This room�Don�t come in here, ok?� Jun Jin said to Sharon. Sharon looked at him. �Why?� Sharon asked. �Kang Ta doesn�t like people going into this room,� Jun Jin answered. Sharon�s curiosity was growing by the second. �But why?� Sharon asked. What is there that he doesn�t want people to see? �Have you ever gone in there?� Jun Jin nodded. �Oh�� �Just don�t go in there unless he tells you to,� Jun Jin said. Brian nodded and smiled. �That�s good,� Brian answered. He looked outside. �It�s pretty late now. Why don�t you go to sleep early tonight so tomorrow morning we can take you out and look around?� �Ok,� Sharon answered and she went to the room that she was staying in the castle. Brian watched her go up the stairs. �You seem to be exceptionally nice to her,� Min Woo said as he walked out from a room that is next to the front. �Can�t help it,� Brian said with a shrug. �Because she looks like her?� Jae Won asked. Brian nodded. �You never know. She might be her after all,� Min Woo said. Brian shrugged again. �So many years. It�s all possible,� Brian answered as he started to walk upstairs. �What are you going to do if it is her?� Min Woo asked. �She has a brother already. You expect her to have another one?� �And another thing is that will she believe what we would tell her?� Jae Won asked. Like two in each room?� the first young man said. �Yeah sure why not?� a girl said with a smile. �Are you sure that Hashie is willing to do this?� another girl asked as she glanced at the boy who was reading a magazine at the sofa. �What? You talking about me now?� the guy named Hashie asked as he looked up. �Yeah,� the second girl who spoke answered. �You are so mean to me�You don�t like me anymore right? You hate me!� Hashie started to say to the second girl. �I never said that,� the girl said. �But you meant that Cindi,� Hashie said. �I did not,� Cindi answered. �Yeah you did,� Hashie said. Cindi decided to not answer back. �So three rooms it is?� Jun Jin asked. �Actually, the price isn�t that high so why don�t we just get one room for each person?� the second boy asked. �That�s true,� the first young man answered. �Then we�ll have seven rooms.� �Please follow me,� Jun Jin said as he went over to where Ji Hye was. �Ji Hye. These people want to get seven rooms.� �Ok,� Ji Hye answered. She looked up at the people and smiled. �May I have all of your names please?� �I�m Andy,� the first young man said as he handed Ji Hye his passport. After he was done, the rest of the people registered at where Ji Hye was. �So this is where we�re staying?� the second girl asked as they waited for the elevator. �I would guess so, Gigi�� Cindi answered. �For the whole trip right?� a third girl asked. �It�s not bad here though. It�s cozy enough,� a fourth girl added. �So where are you planning on going to tomorrow, Emily? You know this place more than we do,� the fourth girl said to the third girl. �Where do you want to go first, Linna?� Gigi asked. �I don�t know. It�s my first time here and I don�t know where to go at all,� Linna answered. �Maybe we should ask the people in here to find out about some places to go to,� Cindi said. Linna nodded. �What about you guys?� Emily asked the three boys in the group. �I don�t know,� Andy said. �Where are you planning to go to, Fany?� Fany shrugged. �Hashie?� Hashie was looking at something again. �Hashie?� Hashie looked up. �What?� Hashie asked. �Where are you planning to go to tomorrow?� Andy patiently asked again. �This old castle,� Hashie answered. �Maybe I�ll meet some ghost in there.� The others looked at him. I mean, there really are those things there?� �Of course. There are ghost everywhere! Sharon shook her head. �I don�t believe that any of you are bad,� Sharon answered. �Why?� Min Woo asked with a smile. �Because you people are so nice to me and you are all Jun Jin oppa�s friends,� Sharon answered. �That doesn�t necessarily mean that we are nice people, Sharon,� Jae Won said. �I don�t know. I just feel that I should trust you people and something tells me that you people are nice,� Sharon said with a shrug. �You better not feel that way about everyone else because you don�t know what kind of people are out there. If there are suddenly some people that are bad and you believed them, then you�re in trouble,� Brian said. Sharon nodded. �I�ll remember that,� Sharon said with a smile. Brian smiled as he opened the door to the castle. They saw Kang Ta sitting in the sofa. �Kang Ta?� Jae Won asked. �Just waiting for you people to come back. I need to go out for a while,� Kang Ta said as he got up from the sofa. �YOU�RE GOING OUT!!!???� the three young men exclaimed all at once. Kang Ta nodded. �It�s time again. You don�t expect to have someone else get this also, do you?� Kang Ta asked. Jae Won sighed. �See you later then,� Brian said. Kang Ta nodded. He walked pass the people and out the door. *********************************************** �What does he have to do?� Sharon asked Brian. Brian smiled at her curiosity�It was so much like her personality� �Just something. Don�t worry about it,� Brian answered. �You aren�t hungry? Or is it that we cook so bad that you don�t want to eat it?� Jae Won asked. Sharon shook her head and started to eat. �Are you interested in trying some kind of special drink that we did?� Brian asked. Sharon looked at him in surprise. �It�s made out of flowers�� �Drink?� Sharon asked. Brian nodded. �It�s in the second room when you go upstairs,� Brian answered. Sharon nodded. �Do you think that you�ll be able to get it?� Sharon nodded and got up and up the stairs. They are also pretty talented�They actually made a drink out of flowers? If she�s not going to taste it, she at least got to see how it looks and smells like� *********************************************** �You have something to tell us?� Min Woo asked when Sharon was out of earshot. Brian nodded. �Do you think that Sharon would find out too much if we let her stay?� Brian asked with a worried expression. Min Woo and Jae Won both laughed. �What are you thinking, Brian? You were the one who wanted her to stay so you could remember more of the happy times that you had with your sister and now you are the one who are asking us about if it�s bad that she stays this long?� Min Woo asked as he continued to laugh. It was so long since he had laughed so hard. �I just wanted to know. Because I know that she�s not a stupid person. Sooner or later, she would probably notice some things that she�s not suppose to,� Brian said. �Like how? The only person who�s in danger of being find out about something is Kang Ta,� Jae Won said. �You know that he doesn�t want to think about the past anymore.� Brian nodded. �What�s keeping Sharon up there so long?� Min Woo suddenly asked. Just then the front door opened. It was Kang Ta. He was back. �Finished?� Jae Won asked. Kang Ta nodded. He then proceeded in going up the stairs, leaving the three young men by themselves again. �It was so easy to find that drink. All she had to do was walk in and�� Brian suddenly stopped talking and looked at the other two boys. They thought of the same thing. �Shit!� the three boys said as all of them got up and ran up the stairs hoping that it wasn�t too late� *********************************************** Chapter 5 Sharon didn�t know that it was this room until she walked up to it. In the hall, there were two different sets of doors. One to her left and one to her right. She walked upstairs and followed Brian�s directions about the second door. But there was two� Which one was she going to try? After looking at both doors without going into any of them, she recognized that the one to her right was the one that Jun Jin had told her not to enter unless she got permission�Does that count that Brian gave her the permission to go into this room? He told her the second room�but he didn�t tell her which one�and the room that was forbidden was the closest one to the stairs� After a while of struggling with herself in her heart, she decided to see if it was in the room to the right. Her hands shivering by a bit, she placed it on the knob and turned it slowly. The door gave a slow croak as it exposed the secrets that it had hidden. She walked slowly in with the candlelight in her hands. She looked around the room. When she finally laid her eyes on the desk, the portrait that was hung behind the desk made a gasp escape from her mouth. The portrait was that of an extremely beautiful young man. If the real person was like that of the portrait, Sharon was pretty sure that he had won a lot of girls� hearts�Could it be Kang Ta? Could this be a portrait of him? �What are you doing in here?� Sharon suddenly heard a voice behind her. The sound came so sudden that she dropped the candlelight. She turned around and looked at the figure at the door. There was some light that came from the candlelights that were in the hallway. She was positive that the owner of this figure was Kang Ta. �Brian told me to get something,� Sharon answered. She wasn�t really afraid of him�Kang Ta was sure about that. �That doesn�t mean that you could come in here,� Kang Ta said. It did not come out mean as he had wanted it to be. �I�m sorry,� Sharon answered. Kang Ta went against what he wanted to do, which was to get her out of the room, and nodded. He walked a little closer to her. �You�re a very curious girl,� Kang Ta said. He saw her face turn slightly red. �That wasn�t the reason that I came in here. I really thought that it was in this room. He told me the second door but he didn�t tell me the one on the right or the one on the left,� Sharon explained. Kang Ta nodded again. He thought for a while before looking at her again. Kang Ta believed what she had just said. �You could have went down to ask him again,� Kang Ta said as a smile appeared at the corner of his lips. �Ok I admit it,� Sharon said as she sighed and looked at him. �I�m a lazy girl, ok?� Kang Ta laughed a little. �Ok,� Kang Ta answered. The two of them heard people running outside. They both looked out the door of the room. Brian, Min Woo, and Jae Won appeared at the door. They looked at the two people in the room. �Sorry, Kang Ta,� Brian said. �Forget about it,� Kang Ta said. Brian nodded. He was sure that Kang Ta wasn�t angry as he had expected him to be. Weird�Kang Ta usually hated it when people entered this room. �Sharon?� Brian called. �Yes?� Sharon answered. �It�s in the other room,� Brian said. Sharon nodded. She then walked pass Kang Ta and headed for the door. She thought of something and turned and looked at Kang Ta. There was a shadow on his face. Oh well, guess she wouldn�t be seeing his face again. �Sorry for coming in,� Sharon said. Kang Ta smiled. �Doesn�t matter�If you want, you could come in sometimes�If you�re not afraid of the dark�� Kang Ta said. �The dark?� Sharon asked. �I prefer talking to people in the dark,� Kang Ta lied. Of course, only Min Woo, Jae Won, Brian, and himself knows the truth. �Oh,� Sharon answered. �Ok. No problem. I would love to come here to talk to you.� Not to mention that she liked hearing his voice. �Then talk to you next time,� Kang Ta said. �Ok,� Sharon said. And then the door was shut� *********************************************** �There wasn�t a storm,� Jae Won said to Min Woo as they walked down the stairs. �Storm?� Sharon asked. �It was suppose to rain tonight?� �No,� Min Woo said with a smile as he shook his head. �It�s just something else that we are talking about. Don�t worry about it.� Sharon nodded and continued walking down the stairs. �There wasn�t even the sound of the thunder,� Jae Won said with an amazed expression on his face. Min Woo nodded in agreement. �That�s something weird about it,� Min Woo said. �There could be rain without thunder,� Sharon mumbled under her breath. Min Woo and Jae Won looked at one another and laughed. �We are lucky that nothing happened though,� Brian said as he smiled. *********************************************** �This is the place?� Gigi said as she walked up to the castle. �How weird in that it looks as if someone cleaned up the whole place,� Linna said. �True. I thought that the people don�t really care about this place that much,� Andy said. �Then why would it be so clean?� Cindi asked. �Maybe it�s a ghost?� Hashie suggested. �Why would there be?� Emily asked as she rolled her eyes. �Why would there NOT be?� Hashie asked. �There could be ghosts everywhere. Like what I said before.� �All I know that it doesn�t look like a place that ghosts would live in,� Fany answered. The other people nodded in agreement. �Do you think that someone lives here since no one really takes care of this place as an ancient trace?� Gigi asked. �It might be,� Emily said as she shrugged. �That means that we have to knock before we walk in?� Linna asked. �I guess,� Andy answered. �You want to do it?� Linna thought for a while and looked at the ring on the door. She then nodded. �Oh well,� Linna said as she walked up to the door and raised the ring. �If no one answers, I guess that we could just go in right?� The other people nodded. Then, Linna knocked the door. After a while, she heard some sounds from inside. �I think someone really lives here. I hear someone walking down the stairs.� The door slowly opened. Linna turned around and met up with his face. Gosh! How could a guy be this cute? She already thought that she had met cute guys already but here�s another one!!!! �May I help you?� the person asked. �Yeah�um�we are�tourists�� Linna said as her face turned red. The guy looked at her for a while before continuing. �Are you looking for Sharon?� Min Woo asked. Linna looked up. �No,� Linna answered. She then saw another young man and a young girl walk down the stairs. �Min Woo! Who is it?� Brian asked. �It�s tourists. Do you know them, Sharon?� Min Woo asked. Sharon shook her head. �We just heard that there was a old castle here and we thought that maybe we would be able to look at it or something,� Fany explained. �Fany,� Brian suddenly whispered under his breath. Fany looked up. �Do I know you?� Fany asked. Brian nodded and then quickly shook his head. �Don�t mind me. You look like a friend of mine with that name,� Brian answered. Fany looked at him weirdly. �That is my name,� Fany answered. Brian looked at him. �Maybe it�s just coincidence,� Gigi suggested. �Maybe it is,� Brian said. Fany looked at him. �Anyways, yes, you may look around if you like but there�s one room that you are not allowed to go into,� Min Woo said. �That�s the second room to the right.� Sharon turned a little red when she heard him say this. Brian patted her on her shoulder. �It doesn�t matter. It was my fault that I forgot to add to the right,� Brian said. Sharon nodded. �At least we are sure that Kang Ta�s not angry or else he wouldn�t invite you to go to that room next time.� �Ok,� Andy said. �We�ll be sure that we don�t go into that room.� Min Woo nodded. �Then you may look around. We added some modern furniture in here. Therefore, not everything is from the old times,� Min Woo explained. The people nodded. *********************************************** "This place is really nice�" Gigi said as they walked down the hall. Linna nodded. "Is it like this since the beginning?" Linna asked Min Woo. Min Woo nodded with a smile. "Yeah. We didn't really break anything or something. We just maintained it," Min Woo said. Linna nodded. "What's in this room?" Gigi wondered to herself as she smiled and went up to the door. She placed her hand on the door and turned the knob. "Wait!" Min Woo yelled out. *********************************************** Chapter 6 Gigi walked into the room and gasped. The boy in the room - Jae Won - looked at her. Gigi snapped back to reality. "I'm�I'm sorry�We're�we're tourists�and�and we decided to�to come look around�here�I�I didn't know that�" Gigi was saying. Jae Won nodded. "It's ok," Jae Won answered. Not like she saw his whole body. Jae Won couldn't help but blush a little. Gigi nodded and walked out the door. *********************************************** When Gigi look back at the "audience" that was watching this scene, she saw Min Woo whisper something to Brian since Brian just came up from downstairs. Brian listened and a smile formed on his face. At the end, Brian started to laugh. Gigi blushed even harder noticing that they were talking about her. Brian looked at her. "I'm sorry," Brian said but he continued to laugh. Min Woo couldn't help but laughed along. "He's not�I mean�we're not laughing at you," Min Woo explained as he continued to laugh. Brian nodded. "Trust us�" Brian said. Finally, the two of them stopped a little. "I didn't laugh for so hard in such a long time," Min Woo said to Brian. Brian nodded in approval. "Me too," Brian answered. He looked at Gigi. "We weren't laughing at you. We were laughing at Jae Won." "Jae Won?" Gigi asked. Brian and Min Woo nodded. "That guy that you saw in there," Min Woo said pointing to the room that Gigi had walked into. Gigi nodded and lowered her head as she blushed again. "Can't help it if he never had a female look at him like that," Brian said as he laughed a little. "That's true but the way that he cried out�" Min Woo said as he laughed a little also. Gigi looked toward the other people. They were looking at her. She walked away and further down the hall. *********************************************** Kang Ta laughed as he listened to Min Woo tells him what happened. "Jae Won�" Kang Ta said as he shook his head. "It's really not a big deal. Not as if she saw you completely nude." Jae Won blushed. "It's just that�it's just that�she just�came into my room without a notice�" Jae Won explained. Kang Ta nodded. "I understand," Kang Ta answered. He looked at the other two boys. "When is Sharon going back to the hotel?" Brian sighed. "She said tomorrow," Brian answered. Kang Ta looked at him and smiled. "Not like you can't go and look at her every once in a while," Kang Ta said. Brian nodded. "Oh well," Brian answered. "I know that you miss her a lot," Kang Ta answered. Brian nodded again. He then thought of something. "Jun Jin is coming over tomorrow," Brian answered. "Yeah?" Kang Ta asked. Brian nodded. "He's coming over to take Sharon back to the hotel," Min Woo answered. The others want to see how they are like." Kang Ta looked at him. "If you don't want to it's ok," Jun Jin quickly added. "It's ok. They should go out every once in a while," Kang Ta said. Jun Jin looked at him. He wanted to tell Kang Ta to go with them but�he knows that it would never happen. "I'll make sure that they don't go too late and come back to keep you company soon," Jun Jin said. Kang Ta laughed. "You're afraid that I'll be lonely?" Kang Ta asked as he shook his head. "I'm use to it." Jun Jin looked at him. "After all these years�I have to be use to it�" *********************************************** "My oppa is a real nice person. He might be a little cold or something at the beginning to new people but once you get to know him, he's really nice," Sharon said with a smile as they were walking back to the hotel. Brian looked at her and gently smiled. He's my older brother!" Sharon answered with a smile. Min Woo smiled and looked at Brian. "So! Jun Jinnie oppa! Did the people miss me while I'm gone?" Sharon asked. Jun Jin smiled. "Sharon! Welcome back!" Ji Hye said with a big smile as she walked out from the reception desk. "I'll tell the rest of the people for you." Sharon nodded. Ji Hye then went to the elevator. After a few minutes, the elevator opened and the people came out. "Welcome back Sharon! How was it there?" Miya asked Sharon with a smile. "It was nice," Sharon answered. "Did you have fun and everything?" Holly asked. Sharon nodded with a smile. "All of them were so nice. Three of them came with me�I tried to get the fourth one to come but he couldn't," Sharon said. She wished that he had come� Snapping back, she smiled at the people and indicated the three boys who were standing a little distance behind her. "These are three of them who were at the castle." The rest of the people looked behind her. Holly let out a little gasp. That guy was that person� Kai started to laugh and everyone looked at her. She cleared her throat and looked at the three people again. She tried to control herself from laughing but failed. Holly was turning beet red by this time. "Stop it," Holly whispered as she nudged Kai. "Orange�orange�" Kai said as she gasped for breath. Everyone looked at Kai and then at Holly. Orange? "What about�oranges?" Ji Hye asked with a raised eyebrow. Kai shook her head and pointed to one of the boys. "Ask�ask them�" Kai said. The rest of the people turned toward the three boys. "Um�yeah�she threw an orange�" Brian said as he cleared his throat a few times. "At his head when we were at the marketplace," Min Woo finished up for him. The rest of the people looked at Holly with widened eyes. What did he do to you for you to throw an orange at him? "I was aiming for Kai but she ducked," Holly mumbled. "I'm sorry," she mumbled to Brian. Brian smiled. "It's ok," Brian answered. Not like it did him that much harm anyways. "Oh well. You got to tell me where you go to have fun these few days," Julie said as she pulled Sharon away and the rest of the people followed them. *********************************************** "How long have you been here?" Woo Hyuk asked Brian. "A long time," Brian answered without thinking as a smile that almost gave a person a bitter feeling appeared on his lips. "How long?" Woo Hyuk asked. Brian shook his head. "It's just so long that I don't even remember." Woo Hyuk nodded. "Sharon�when was she born?" Woo Hyuk looked at him weirdly. "It's not what you're thinking. I just want to know. She's really similar to my sister." Woo Hyuk then nodded. "She was born in April," Woo Hyuk answered. Brian froze at where he was standing but quickly recovered again. "Oh," Brian answered. Woo Hyuk smiled again. "Now you think that she's your sister? Trust me. I saw the time when my mother went to the hospital to give birth to her," Woo Hyuk answered. Brian smiled and shook his head. The moonlight shines softly on the grass, the trees, and the swings in the backyard as well as the person standing there� He looked up at the moon� Celine�Hehe�How could it be her? It can't be her�So many years� So many years� Unconsciously, his hand went up to his face and gently touched it� "How long would this torture last?" he whispered under his breath. "How long�" He looked at the surroundings around him. "HOW LONG!!!!!!??????" He yelled into the silence of the night. The silence was the answer to his questions� "Celine�Why? Why?�Why did you do this? Why?�" he said continually. "Why didn't you tell me? Why? Why did you leave without telling me what was this for? Why? Why did you have to ruin everything? Why?" He was panting hard now with anger. The winds seem to agree with him and blew a little stronger than it was a while ago� "Why didn't you trust me? Am I not worth it at all?" he yelled into the dark.
