7/17/07 Rangers Trade

The Rangers dealt Center Matt Cullen back to the Carolina Hurricans for Defenseman Andrew Hutchinson a prospect and a draft pick. This was basically a salary dump because this now clears up some cap room to sign Sean Avery and Marcel Hossa. Cullen was also underachieving for the contract he was signed to by the Rangers last offseason.
