| I am planning to use TOLKIEN font for my RPG
(Role Playing Game) sections, I will provide a link for you to down load,
cause it does not come with windows font library (and instructions for
those who don't know what to do with it once, you have downloaded it, but
microsoft does give thorough enough instructions.
Just a note about these screen shots, I used code to make them smaller, so should you want to use them as backgrounds on your desktop you can just right click on the picture you like and save the image (These shots are in 640x480, I will be taking 800x600 shots form now on, they will take a bit longer to download though!) Ok .....
so I haven't finished the game myself either, but hey, the little that I have played has at least kept my interest going so that I will at some stage get there. Not like the game is very difficult or anything, it just takes some time (I am not exactly playing it on easy, so there are some tricky moments, and I do like a challenge ; ) So the first couple of screen shots are from the first episode. When
I first got the game (a couple of years back, and playing it on my Cyrix
5x86 100 MHz with , get this, a WHOPPING 24 megs of RAM ; ) it was
a bit rough going, playing at about
Ok so here we go : The first episode of the game starts of in a fortress type setting. If you turn to your left, there are instructions on the wall, telling you about your quest to kill "FAMINE". ( I actually only saw this way after I got the game. You will find similar "posters" through out the game. Overall the difficulty aint to bad , with your regular grunts and spiders populating most areas. The only tricky enemy is the skull wizard, watch out for the spiders once you kill him.
As you can see from these screen shots I do like being a necromancer, I suppose that's where my Diablo 2 character came from ! (That game will get a page soon.) Episode 2 , and FAMINE next week..... |
