| Graphics 12/20 The graphics, although nothing speacial fit the mood of the game pretty nicely. Most of the graphics were RTP, but were used well enough to give it an average base score. The score was boosted by the nice looking world map, and how he actually put the effort of making the hero's sprite small on the world. map. The charasets were decent enough to not lower the score, but they were still pretty average. The non-RTP facesets used were horrible. I suggest that Scorpman changes them in the next release. Story: 12/20 The main plot was definately lacking...not much was shown about it in the demo, mainly just little bits and pieces of foreshadowing and stuff. The other plots that were branched off, were pretty bad, but were executed nicely, which helped raise the score. Overall, pretty average. Reminds me a bit of the first generation of RM2k games.. Gameplay: 8/20 This is where the game lacked the most. There wasn't anything speacial in this game, except the little options menu was decent, but didn't help the score much. It used the default system, but nothing speacial was created with it, so that definately lowered the score. There were also little to no puzzles in the game, which is also a minus. Overall, below average. Music/Sound: 10/20 From what I heard, all the sounds/music were RTP. Theres not much to say about that, except that its completely average. Bugs: 8/10 The bugs were pretty minimal in the game, and there were very few grammatical errors..Good job in this department. Balance: 6/10 Overall, the aspects of the game were all pretty much on par with each other, but each individual department is lacking. It was a slightly above average game, and I would say it was worth my time, since I had nothing better to do. Overall: 56/100, F Overall, this game is pretty much average. It isn't anything speacial, but if your bored one day, this game is worth picking up. Its not the greatest game in the world, but it isn't horrible. Well thats my review! Review by: Dreaded69 |
