SetSpeed: Realm Hack for Diablo II V1.03
Public Version 1.0
by TechWarrior

I've copied all the info from the info box into this text file, to avoid people getting confused:

What SetSpeed.exe does:
This next public Realm Hack allows you to edit the speed at which you walk and/or run while the game is running. It works on realm, open games - host or join, and single player.

Important info on applying:
You have to be in a game to apply this hack, so that my program can seek all the dll offsets in memory at once. Tick which hacks you want to use, and set the Walk & Run Speeds. Do all that and then hit apply. If all goes well, only you will be displayed as going super fast.

After you have applied once, you can update the hack to test different speeds at any time you choose, whether in a game or not, and even unload the hack completely from memory without a trace.

Minor Caution:
If you set your speed near to 2000 or more it won't work correctly. I don't know why exactly, nor do I care to trace down the problem. Also if you're playing on a Realm, then you can't set your speed tooo high, or the host will start resetting your location. This happens more frequently when the realm servers are lagging. If it starts resetting on you and you don't want to slow down, you can try running small circles after you've run a long distance, and that often updates your location to the server I've found.

I'll be releasing at least 2 more programs for Diablo II. I have just about every open hack that you can think of, though they can't be released as hak or dat files due to the way that diablo's dlls are loaded into memory. One program that will help with this problem that I'm working on is an applier that will allow anybody to write hacks to be applied to the Diablo II dlls in memory. Check out my website for Diablo II programs within the next few months.
