The Sega Game Gear was the only portable video game system that I have ever wanted, and I had my sights set on the system ever since a year after it was released. Finally, in Christmas 1993, I received the system packed in with the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 video game. The Game Gear was an overall great video game system. The major drawback of the Game Gear was that it used up the battery power quickly. I did not get many games for this system, but the games I did get were very fun. The Game Gear is another Sega system that has brought be joy, and it was nice to have portable Sega fun wherever I go.
Here is the listing of all games and peripherals that I own for the Sega Game Gear system. The items are listed in order in which they were received.

MY FAVORITE GAME FOR THE SEGA GAME GEAR SYSTEM |
|
NUMBER 1. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG TRIPLE TROUBLE I did not own many Game Gear games. However, I have played quite a few of them. The best out of the bunch in my opinion is definitely Sonic Triple Trouble. I almost considered Sonic Chaos to be my favorite because it was the first Game Gear game that I have gotten and it was great. However, Sonic Triple Trouble surpasses the incredible Sonic Chaos in every aspect. I see this game as the portable equivalent of Sonic The Hedgehog 3 for the Sega Genesis. Knuckles the Echidna makes his first appearance here just like in Sonic 3. There is also another character in this game previously unseen: Nack the Weasel. The graphics and sound represent the Game Gear at its finest. There are many levels in the game (including bonus ones). The game play is quite solid. Simply put, this is the best of the 8-Bit Sonic titles, and I am glad to have this wonderful game. |
