LIL' AFTER HOURS

SEPTEMBER 27, 2003

Hello all. I decided to place one Reflective Moments entry for this month. I've been meaning to do it earlier, but as other times I could never bring myself to actually sit down and type anything. Now, I am doing it though. I'm not sure if I feel like it, but I'm doing it anyway. Before sitting down at this computer typing this, I was outside doing my normal recreational walking. I started sometime after 10:30 p.m. Friday Night and I got back here a little after 12:00 a.m. I haven't walked for such an extended period of time and distance since I returned to school, so I felt like doing it then. It was kinda cool and a little refreshing.

Just sitting here...allowing the minutes and hours to pass by. Yes, that's what I'm doing right now. Oh yeah...I'm listening to some music too. Through the past few hours I've listened to songs by Anita Baker, Smo Logic, Jill Scott, Mint Condition, and John Mayer. I'm listening to John Mayer right now as I'm typing this sentence. I should be going to bed at this time. I have a productive weekend coming along. I'm gonna be going back home to Memphis so I can attend the Mid South Fair. I haven't attended that since two years ago. I'm going as an early way of celebrating my birthday. Yup, my birthday is coming in some days. I think I'll have a good time. This will be my third amusement park I'm attending for this year. The first was Six Flags in St. Louis. The second was the Nashville State Fair that I attended like two weeks ago, and let me say...that mess sucked monkey balls! I mean, really! I went with two other victims, and all three of us were like..."is this all?!" This mess had nothing to offer. I wonder how can the people of Nashville enjoy this stuff. I won't lie though...I had a ball on the bumper cars...lol. That park was a total waste of money. I would rather go to Libertyland in my hometown than that crapfest. Libertyland isn't that great, but at least it has a decent roller coaster and a water log ride among other things. Then, Libertyland is better when the Mid South Fair is attached to for the couple of weeks it's around. So, going there will be a way to rectify that travesty.

Okay, do I have anything else to say? Hmmmm...let's see. School isn't going too badly. I'm definitely not being perturbed by it like I was last semester. I've been having a little fun thanks to all of the friends around me. It's still school though, so the bogus college establish doesn't get much love from me...hahaha. I can't think of much more to tell. I'm still listening to John Mayer right now. I'm thinking of finally retiring for the night/morning. I gotta get some sleep so I can get up and go. Maybe I'll get enough sleep and wake up early enough to watch Sonic X on television. Yeah, Sonic X...the new Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon on the Fox Box. Why am I watching that show if I'm supposedly not into the blue rodent that much anymore? I don't know, but I am enjoying the cartoon. I still like Sonic to some extent, and he's still my favorite video game character. Well, I'm thinking this is the time that I close out this Moment of Reflection. I'll probably listen to a few more songs and browse the web a little more before going to bed. Take it easy everyone. Peace.
