Howdy. Just trying to add more to this site so I decided to add another late night entry. I don't have much to do at this point. At this time, I am just maintaining the website as I should. I have added this little audio welcome message to the website so my voice can now be heard. It was just a little idea I came up with, and once it was executed I wondered why I even came up with the idea. I'm such a fool, and it shows. I don't like the finished product too much, but one aspect I like about it is my music selections that I put into it, especially the final song that is played. That song is just a little creation of showing off my little beat boxing skills. The song was done before I even started on the audio message. I have to admit I was pretty impressed with it. I did not think it would turn out so good. Once it was completed, I played it many times. Inserting that song into my audio message is the best thing I did. Otherwise, the audio message would have been far worse.
Well, what do you know...I am playing the song right now. It is one minute and ten seconds of beat boxing, record scratching, simple melody, and hard hitting drums. The melody I created for the song existed before now. I did a similar little song last year, but it was not nearly as elaborate as this one. It was just a typical song with primary drums and the melody. It was decent for its time, I suppose, but it was a work in progress that was never completed. So, when I recently thought of doing a little song, that particular melody returned to my head. I used it again, but with a different approach. That's where my beat boxing came in. I decided that the beat boxing would be the major charm of the song, and it definitely is. The scratching was a nice little bonus. As good as the beat boxing was, I figured out that it was not the major drums that I wanted it to be. So, I decided to add another set of drums to it, and it added to the appeal of the song. I must say that my beat boxing and those drums make a great combination. Yet, I also felt it was wonderful that I began and ended with just my beat boxing. Can't you tell I like this stuff? As I'm typing right now, the song play so many times I lost count. Then again, I wasn't really counting in the first place...haha. I might expand on it and make it a full song. It just might work. On the other hand, it might be just fine the way it is. Expansion or no expansion...I don't know. Whatever the case, though, it is a pretty nice piece of work, and I'm kinda proud of myself.
Well, I think I said enough, so I guess this concludes another late night edition of my reflective moments. I hope it was at least a slight enjoyment (but I doubt it). With that said, I must now head off. Peace.
