Rome - the Eternal Web Page
... and we experienced some culture, too!  We visited the Vatican Museum, Vatican Observatory, Pantheon, a whole lot of cathedrals, and more ruins than you could shake a stick at.  Important feature of Rome:  You can't swing a dead cat around without hitting a priest.  And you can't swing a dead priest around without hitting a cat.  Must be the spawning grounds for both species.
Me and da fodder doing what we did best this trip - eat, drink, and be merry.  Here we are at Bucci's in Castel Gandolfo.
Here I am perusing an original copy of "Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems," the book that got Galileo in trouble.
On the Ides of March, we visited the restaurant poised atop the location where Julius Caesar was assassinated.  We didn't have to beware.
Have I mentioned that things that look like perfectly innocent sidewalks are all, in fact, STREETS?!?!
