With only 2 full band practises previous to the gig, the tension was mounting. We didn't even have a permanent singer for the night and had to ask Big John to sing for us without even practising with us! and all credit to him for saving our asses there however drunk and stoned he may have been! Nikki had only been playing drums for one month at this point (but pulled it off to look like a year or two or so the audience said) I had been playing the guitar only about a year at this point, around the same amount of time Chrissy has been playing bass and Paul had been playing guitar. The PA was awful and really let us down as it kept cutting out especially during The Pixies solo which really irritated us as a band. We were more an entertainment fiasco than a band, put it that way! We will make a lot of changes and hopefully we'll get this show on the road then come back on the scene and impress the hell outta you lot! Watch out!
