Rachel's 15th Birthday party, 17 days after she turned 15 but that's not the point! Redline kicked off the night with a super set including well known favourites like "Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water" and "Tenacious D - Tribute" and many more which went down a storm. Next it was Drayven, us, and we kicked off with the usual "Tourettes" and to the crowds astonishment, the microphone hadn't been turned on but everyone could still hear my loud Kurt Cobain screaming impression over all the music and chat of the guests. This was followed by "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and the usual set, this time including an original composed by Emma and lyrically written by Rachel, a mellow song, "My Helpless Cry" we ended with the legendary "Enter Sandman". Finally LSD Lucy appeared on the scene playing their full cover set consisting of just Metallica and Megadeth but very enjoyable and nice to have some good songs to mosh to! Would have been nice if there was a bit of variety though! There wasn't even a PA at this so called "gig" and amps were used for everything including vocals which wasn't great, but decent I suppose.
