| Late at night, I look up at the sky. I look up at the stars. Even though the darkness surrounds me, I am not afraid. For the stars guide me, the stars protect me. Even in the darkest of nights, the stars shine. I may not be able to see them, but I know that they are up there waiting for me. They are watching me. These bright guardians are more than just mere suns burning millions of miles away. They are a celestial sign. A sign from those that have come before us. A sign from Life itself. It tells us no matter what, that the darkness does not hold sway over us. The light that we shine will guide us, and others, through the night. The darkness can only win if we choose to ignore the light. The darkness can only win if we let it. The stars are so beautiful tonight. The stars protect me. They hunt the darkness that hunts me. I love looking up at the starry night. When did you last enjoy the beauty that they give us? When did you start taking them for granted? Why did you stop looking? They are still waiting for you. |
| P.S. Lets see if you can quess what constellation the picture is of. There is a hint in the poem. |
