| Broken. We are broken souls. Our souls are like the clouds in the sky, broken. We are little drops of water clinging to each other, and yet not knowing why. But we can only cling for so long. Once the weight becomes to much, we fall. We fall so far, and so long, that we feel as if we will never stop falling. And then we strike the ground, the earth, and we are shattered by the force. Slowly we come back to ourselves, slowly we begin again. And then we are melding with others like us, we flow and we feel connected. But that too is not meant to last. We grow light and faint, and then we find ourselves floating high above the earth. We have formed another cloud, and the circle of pain starts again. Still we cling to our clouds, and our puddles. But what we forget is that life is not the highs and lows, but the journey that we take to get to both. And our souls will continue to travel between both. There is no perfect world. There is no miserable exsistence. There is only life. |
