| You lost everything and your soul slips away "Cuts. Bruises. Broken Bones." until it is nothing more than memories "None of it mattered" lost in something that is no more "None of it mattered when you hugged me" if you have no future "Wishes. Dumb Words. They never come true." why not dwell in the past? "I should have stayed lost in the darkness, how was I to know I'd miss you so much?" Is it not safer to live in gleeful dreams "Dreams are lies" than wallow in the sadness "Dreams are no different than nightmares" that plague the present "I don't like dreaming" No one came to help "I never meant" No one came to look "to be this way." No one came "I never wanted to be so cold." It is broken "Jaded." Fallen "Faded." All that's left of your fragile little world "And I'm just a figment of someone's imagination." |
