personal history: her mother was a reckless hunter, spending most of her days in the sea ever since Zida was eight turns old, leaving most of her upbringing to cubsitters and mentors. She and Palewave befriended soon, close age-mates as they were. Zida�s mother died in an orca attack when Silence was eleven and Zida fifty-seven turns old. She didn�t mourn her very much, but was devastated when Whalekin disappeared, having always felt closer to him.
