| DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL |
| It's hard to be Daddy's little girl when your Daddy isn't around anymore. When he left, you cried and cried and cried, and as far as understanding, you tried. The first few months were hard enough you always thought he'd be back--he must. And then an intense rage filled you you hate the way life was, but what could you do? You tried to forgive him, but it's too tough, you think it is better to justify your feelings, and isn't that enough? You were down on your knees every night praying to God for your parents with all your might. He calls you every week or so, just to say hello, he asks you how you are, you say the week's been good-so far. You remember, fondly, the things you used to do, from basketball, to joking, to being sick with the flu. He invites you to lunch, you're busy you say, you's love to forgive him, but not today. And like you said before, it's so hard to be Daddy's little girl, when your Daddy isn't around anymore. |
