My Own Worst Enemy

I am my own worst enemy,
Nothing is ever good enough,
I try my hardest to please myself,
And usually fail.

I am my own worst enemy,
I critisize myself too much,
I don't understand why I'm not better,
Then again, I'm only human.

I am my own worst enemy,
I am too picky when choosing friends,
It's as though I'm narcissistic,
But I only want to make wise decisions.

I am my own worst enemy,
I look through my good intentions,
They reflect nothing; as though I'm transperant,
Except my hypocritical face.

I am my own worst enemy,
I need to get over myself,
Realize I'm trying my hardest,
And that I am who I am.
