I am a liar,
In many ways,
Often,
I cannot count the days.
I do it for unknown reasons,
Mostly harmless and white,
Afraid of the truth,
They get me through the night.
I try not to,
But to further my own image,
I must,
It's only a gimick.
Just enough to feel worthy,
I do it not to smite,
I shouldn't, for friends and family will love me,
And will hug me just as tight.
