The Play for Phoenix has been decided. The chosen one was Edward Bonds 'Lear'. Auditions for parts are being held at the following venues and times.
Tuesday 22nd of October 4 p.m. U.C.D. (Belfield.)
Thursday 24th October 4 p.m. - 7p.m. D.C.U.
Saturday 26th October 1p.m. Trinity College.
Anyone interested in auditioning is advised to get a copy of the play.
The page numbrs of the scene to be prepared will be posted here as soon as i get them. Sorry for the delay.
Anyone interested in Lighting stage prepartion, make-up or anything else for the play would be advised to e-mail me so i can inform the Phoenix Commitee.
Many people have asked when the drama soc will be doing anything. Although nothing is confirmed as yet, i hope to begin the workshops in the first week of November. At the moment we are just waiting the go ahead from the fee's commitee in relation the grant fund allocated to our society.
Anyone who has any ideas for the society is free to voice their opinions, and would in fact be appreciated. Just email me with your ideas for the society, whether you want to produce a play or have a suggestion of a play the society might want to see, or whatever.
