| This Discipline, the counterpart to the Yang Prana, allows a vampire to tap into and manipulate her internal Yin energy. Like Yang Prana, Yin Prana relies on motions and postures to utilize the various powers, but these motions are a far cry from the frenzied katas of the Yang Prana. Yin Prana motions are slow, graceful and deliberate. Nonetheless, as with the Yang Prana, wielders of this Discipline must have relative freedom of movement. * Shrouded Moon By concentrating on yer Yin energy, then attuning it to the shadows around her, the vampire may become invisible and silent, like a shadow under a new moon. This art is exceedingly useful to Kuei-jin, who use it to sneak up on their prey like the ninja of old. ** Yin Mantle This power is identical to the Yang Mantle power, save that the vampire conjures forth the essence of her Yin. *** Bone Dance Through a siries of slow, languorous mudras and postures, the vampire focuses her Yin energy into a series of conentrated waves that permeate the surrounding area. All within the area begin to grow lethargic, eventually becoming highly suggestible. **** Eightfold Yin Mantle The vampire calls forth a crackling black aura of Yin energy, then shapes it into constructs of her desire. Objects created in this manner typically appear to be made of a black, icy substance. Clever vampires use this power to conjure all sorts of useful and deadly toys. ***** Semblance of the Ebon Dragon The vampire channels Yin through her corpse to transform her entire body into a cloud of pure Yin energy. In this form, she is completely intangible, although she may travel the roads of the Dead and deal with the ghosts of the Dark Kingdom of Jade. ***** * Yin Shield With precise, delicate, graceful movements, the Kuei-jin forms his Yin animus into a protective carapace around his body. This shell sometimes appears as a layer of ice and frost, while at other times it takes the form of a black, crackling energy barrier. ***** ** Yin Nihilus This power creates a deadly halo of Yin energy. Burning with black power summond forth from the vampire's soul, the Yin Nihilus inflicts a sering wave of negative Chi on those against whom the vampire uses it. ***** *** Touch of Rust Yin energy is related to the element of metal. When a Kuei-jin uses this power, he sucks the Yin energy out of a metallic object, causing it to instantly rust, corrode, and crumble. ***** **** Iron Corpse At this level, the Kuei-jin's body becomes so infused with yin energy that it literally transforms into metal. (This does not hinder the ability to move or act, but it does make social interaction a lil more difficult.) Of course, a metal body is a significant benefit in combat, especially against other shen. |
