Explainations: Okay, I�ve kind of screwed around with the characters in this story. I have omitted Sora, Mimi, Joe, and Cody. Kari does not know Tk and they have never been to the Digiworld. Chapter 1
~~Taichi~~
Taichi looked down at her developping body. She sighed and rested her head on her hand. I f thad been so easy pretending she was a boy when she was younger. Only her family know her true identity. (�Not even Yamato� ah, one of the reasons I�m actually glad to be a girl. I can love Yama without disobeying my families values or beliefs. Not that I have a problem with gay relationships, it�s just that I don�t think my family would accept it if I was in one.�) Yama� Taichi laid her head down on the table. (�It�s only a matter of time before he finds out. Will he still like me�?�)

Yamato lay down on his bed. He hadn�t seen much of Tai recently and was finding himself really disappointed. He blushed at the thought of the shorter boy. He was growing more and more attracted to him. He smiled an decided to phone his best friend.
�Hey, Mattie, thinkin� �bout Tai again?� asked a taunting voice.
Matt dropped the phone and looked around. He saw his brother, Takeru. (�But how could he know? I�ve only just admitted it to myself a few days ago!�) �What?�
TK laughed and dropped a piece of paper into his confused older brother�s hand.
Matt tried to clear his mind enough to read what looked like his writing.
*�Oh, God, I have discovered something. I am in love with my best friend, Taichi. I know it�s supposed to be wrong, but then why does it feel so right?

Matt�s hand shook slightly. �W-where did you find this?� he whispered.
�In your hamper. You�re lucky I was doing laundry yesterday or Mother might have found it.� TK laughed at the look on his brother�s face. �Don�t worry, your secret�s safe with me.�
Matt hugged his brother tightly. �Thanks, TK. I don�t think anyone could have a better brother.�
TK smiled and hugged his brother back.
�You know something, TK?�
TK shook his head.
�I don�t think there�s anything wrong with being gay.�
�Me neither.�
~~Ken~~
Ken dropped his school books on his bed and went straight to his computer. His day had gone very strangely. His best friend had told him that he loved him. He was startled by this but him that they could still be friends, even though he didn�t feel the same way. He logged on to MSN and the familiar name Cinnamonsoccorfreak popped up. He smiled inwardly and began a conversation with his friend.
Hey, Davey, what up?
Not too much, Ken, you?
Some homework in science, nothing I can�t handle. U okay?
Yeah, a little heart-broken-nothing I can�t handle.
Ken laughed. Dai, Dai, Dai�
What?
Nothing. Call me, k? I gotta go, my mum�s calling.
No problem, Mr. Genious! Mayb you can help me with my math or something�

Ken logged off and trudged into the living room.
�Yes, Mother?� he said when he got there.
�Ken, I�m worried.�
Ken blinked several times. He didn�t know what he had expected, but it hadn�t been this. �About what?� he asked finally.
His mother looked very uncomfortable. �I-I-�� she cleared her throat looking for the words. �I think I�m pregnant.�

For the first time in her life, she decided to go to a basketball game at the school. As she squeezed through the throng of people, she saw a familiar hand wave her down.
�Come on, Kari, the game�s about to begin!�
Kari sat heavily beside her best friend, Miyako. Together they watched their team come on.
One boy with blond hair messily falling everywhere over his face and bright, innocent blue eyes caught Kari�s attention instantly.
�Miyako, who�s he?�
Miyako followed Kari�s gaze. �The one with the blond hair?�
Kari nodded.
�He�s in one of my classes. I think his name�s TK, short for Takeru.�
Kari was brought back from her dreamy state when the beeper signalling the beginning of the game sounded. She cheered and screamed along wth everyone else. (�Who knew this could be so much fun?�)
~~TK~~
�Okay, team, this is the first game of the season. Let�s make this school proud!�
The team clapped and cheered and assembled to go out onto the court.
The instant TK stepped into the court, he could feel someone looking at him. He looked up and saw a girl staring at him, assessing him. She kinda looked like Tai. Maybe they were sibings. (�That girl she�s talking to� I know her! That�s Miyako! Hmm� maybe they�re not just siblings, but twins?�) His thoughts were interuppted when the coach started to lecture them again.
~~Yama~~
�Hey, Tai. Waz up?�
�Not too much. I�m wiped from soccer practise, though. An� I�ve got tons of homework due tomorrow.�
�Sounds like you�ve got a lot on your mind.�
�Na, just on my schedule.�
Matt laughed. �I�ve got a band practise tomorrow. No one�s supposed to go unless they�re in the band, but I�ll make an exception for you.�
Matt waited for an answer.
�I�d love to go.�
Matt heaved a sigh of relief. �See you then. You�d better do your homework.�
�You�ll see me at school tomorrow. Geography. Second period. Remember��
Matt laughed. �I forgot.�
�Matt, isn�t it normally me who forgets everything?�
�Bye.�
Matt hung up the phone. He looked up as he heard the door slam.
�Hey, TK, how�d your game go?� He was dignified with another slamming door. (�Hmm, I�d better go check it out.�)

Izzy shook his head. �Obviously. I have to sleep sometime!�
�Get to bed early today, all right? You�ve had a lot of late nights.�

Izzy tried his MSN again. (�YES! Someone else is on!�) Cinnamonsoccerfreak and Rockstart�s Little Brother were both on.
I: Hey, guys! What�s up?
T: not lots, izz. Grr� the ref so favoured the other team. Out of our 20 baskets they only counted 4! We lost 8 to 40! WE SHOULD HAVE TYED!!!! *~fumes~*
I: calm down, TK. Hopefully you don�t have that ref nest time.
D: yeah, it�s not that big a deal.
T: oh, sure, look who�s talking. Remember when you played ken�s team?
D: shut up!
.Izzy�s eyes flickered to the side of the monitor as he heard the �someone else is on� noise. Mr. Genious had just signed on.
I: hey, ken.
K: hi izzy. What are dai and TK fighting about?
I: *shrugs* losing
K: *raised eyebrow* losing?
I: like I said, *shrug*
D: hey ken!
K: u didn�t phone me.
D: *wince* sorry. My sister wouldn�t get off until 10. I�m not allowed to call after that.
I: u could�ve tricked her.
D: how? She�s used to all my tricks
I: tell her matt has a concert on the other side of the world in 15 minutes.
D: tempting. To the point that you wouldn�t believe.
Izzy looked at his watch. 12:00a.m.
I: I�d better go. Sorry, guys. Take care. Dai.
He had already signed off when he realized that instead of Bye, he had written Dai. What was that? (�My mother must be right. I�ve had way too little sleep.�) He shook his head and got into bed
Davis stared at his computer screen. What? Why did it say Dai? (�Maybe it�s my imagination��)
�Davis, your computer�s keeping me awake. Turn it off and go to bed!�
Davis turned angrily to his sister�s shadowy form in the doorway. �You wouldn�t get off the phone! Maybe if you had, I wouldn�t be keeping you awake! So leave me alone!� He turned back to his computer and purposely surfed the internet just to piss off his sister.
He heard an exasperated noise in the doorway followed by heavy footsteps leading away from his room, going to their own. They would not disturb him again that night.
