center>Six survived Demon's attack. Demon has now killed two. Four are alive, alone. One faces danger in the Digital World. One travels between them. One gains Pokemon, and unite enemies. The last has the way to bring others back. But Demon has plans, greater yet.
A bald boy walked along the empty forest. His eyes were on a small village beyond him. His assignment, Tenchia Karai, was working there. He had to kill her. A Black Plotmon walked at the boy's side. His bare chest wasn't cold, despite the sharp bite of the wind. A quiver of arrows hung from his back, a bow in his hand. His brown belt supported a few small bags and the such.
"Who truspasses on my land?" An Electmon asked, jumping down onto the pass.
Akiuro, the boy, made a face. "None you need worry about, fool. I need to get to the village beyond you."
"I guard that village, human. I'll not let you farther."
"Do you know about the human girl in that village?"
"She is an old friend."
"I'm a friend of her's. I bring an urgent message."
"I doubt it." Said a little ball-like Digimon. A Dracmon. "I don't think you're any friend of Karai's."
Akiuro smiled slightly. "So, the Digikid is here. I thought so. Let me by. I have business."
The Dracmon and Electmon didn't move. "What's your business?" The ball asked.
"I'm here to kill her. I'll kill you too, if you don't move." Akiuro grumbled, getting impatiant.
"No!" The Dracmon became Dracel Monrastrie. "I won't let you hurt her!"
Akiuro blinked. "Shit." He grumbled. His hand flew back and he pulled out an arrow, notching it onto his bow. "Move! I'll shoot else!" He shouted.
"Move, Drac-chan." A soft voice said from behind the humon. Dracmon moved to the side, revealing Karai and all the Digiman of the other, once dead, Digidestined. "I was warned that you would come. I've been waiting. Put that thing away and follow me into the village."
Akiuro didn't move. "Why?"
Karai bacame Kat. "Because we both know those arrows will only kill Karai-chan. Just like Teivel's sword will only kill me."
"It can wound you." He warned.
"So shoot me, then come along. I've some tea awaiting us in the village."
Akiuro groaned and put the arrow back. He and Black Plotmon fell in line behind Kat, Digiman behind, before, and beside them. Drac and Kat walked side by side. Akiuro decided to listen in on their conversation.
"Why are you doing this, Kat?" Drac hissed protectively.
"I know what I'm doing, Drac. I'll be fine. Mel-chan told me what the deal is with these kids." Kat returned in an even voice.
"I'm still not sure..." Drac sighed.
Kat smiled at her older brother, who she was now taller than, kindly. "Hey, I understand. Life's a little weird right now. I kinda wish I had the others with me too."
A Bakumon floated up to Akiuro. "So, your here to kill Karai-chan." It sighed.
"Of course. Lord Demon sent me."
"And what do you get out of it?"
"The satisfaction of another kill."
"Have you ever met Karai-chan?"
"Uhm..." Akiuro thought back to the first time he'd seen the girl. She and the other Digikids had lived on his street. He'd remembered wanting to help them, but not knowing how. He shook his head violently. "Go away." He grumbled.
The Bakumon became Tenchia Rou, Karai's little brother. His eyes were hard. "So, who's after me?"
Akiuro looked over the boy. Demon had been right, Life had manage to bring all the others back, except Melanie, so far. "Pussy." He said in a dreamy sigh.
"Oh God!" Kat laughed. "Have a crush on one of your partners, Akiuro?" She asked with a grin.
Akiuro sneered at her. "You've never met Pussy, bitch. She's ten times as pretty as you."
"I never said I was pretty, but thanks for the compliment anyway." Kat said, her eyes twinkling.
"Just because I'm wondering, how did you gain Kindness if you act like such a bitch all the time?" Akiuro asked, truely curious.
Kat grimaced. "I'm offering you something to eat and drink, aren't I?"
"That wasn't my question." Akiuro replied.
Kat waved to the other Digiman. "Go on, we'll catch up." She, Drac, and Rou were the only ones who stayed with Akiuro and Black Plotmon. "I'm only human." Kat shrugged, knowing that this was going to get difficult.
"Not from what I've heard." Akiuro grumbled.
Kat ignored what he said, knowing what he meant quite well. "Anyway, you're not acting as your crest says to act."
Akiuro made a face. "Shut up. I'm hungry."
"Don't wanna face the truth or somethin'?" Rou asked, his eyes cold.
"Rou..." Drac hissed.
"Answer me!" Rou shouted. "Why do you wanna kill my sister!?" The child burst into tears.
"Hush, Rou-chan. Hush." Kat sighed and hugged him close. She looked at Akiuro, but her eyes weren't hateful or angry, as Akiuro had expected, but apologetic. "Let's go." She whispered, her voice painfully soft. She picked up Rou and turned toward the village. The other two followed, Akiuro having mixed feelings.
~~At the Village~~
Kat had put Rou to bed. She, Akiuro, Ichijouji Ken, Takaishi Hikari, James Monrastrie, Jonathan Granarma, Drac, Yagami Taichi, Takaishi Takeru, and Ishida Yamato sat around the table, tea and cookies before them. Kat and Ken sat next to Akiuro, since none of the others would. Akiuro knew what to expect from most of the people at the table. Kat, Ken, and Hikari worried him. He had no clue what to expect from them.
"So, Demon's got kids with the same abilities as you." Takeru said to Kat.
"I'm not sure they're the exact abilities..." Kat looked at Akiuro.
Akiuro grimaced. Kat was trying to be kind, he knew. It was in her nature. "We have to check in with Lord Demon every other day. We have restrictions. He is the only one who has the ability to send us where we need to go."
Ken sighed. "I wish Koushiro was here." Everyone looked at him questioningly. "Demon's calls. He was doing that to figure out were you all were placed." He explained. "Koushiro could probably figure out all the working of it..."
"Then it's a good thing he isn't here." Taichi broke in. "He's too confusing."
Smiles appeared around the table. "That's only because you don't try to understand." Yamato said, elbowing Taichi.
Akiuro looked down at Black Plotmon, who had dragged his tiny computer over. "Akiuro, it's hot." She whispered.
Akiuro made a face. "It's Demon. He'll kill me."
"Why?" Asked Kat.
"Duh. I failed." He gave an ironic smile. "And I'm having tea and cookies with the enemy."
Kat grabbed his little computer and skipped away. "So I'l answer it. I love pissing Demon off." She said.
"Kat!" Drac and James cried together.
"Katrania!" All but Ken, Hikari, and Akiuro cried.
Ken and Hikari watched as she opened it. Demon's face came on the screen. "Konban wa, Demon!" She said with a grin. "You made a boo-boo!"
"BITCH!!" Demon shouted, sounding mad.
Kat laughed. "What? I'm I ruining your plans again?"
"You're not supposed to be in the Digital World." Demon grumbled.
"Oh. So sorry. I just had to screw up your plans for you again. That's so much fun to do."
"I'll come there then." He sneered.
"Demon," Kat started dully. "you're too late. I brought the others back already. Stay where you are. We'll be there soon."
"You forget my hunters." Demon warned.
"Hear that, Akiuro?" Kat looked at the boy. "Demon's using you."
Akiuro walked over and stood behind Kat, his face blank. Demon smiled at the boy. "Well, glad to see she hasn't killed you yet. So dreadfully sorry you haven't done your work yet."
Akiuro narrowed his eyes. "Shut up. I know where I belong now. Don't call again. I no longer work for you." He threw the belt on the ground and walked into a room Kat had showed him earlier.
Kat smiled. "Really must be going now. Ta-ta." She closed the computer and looked at the others. "I'm gonna go check on Akiuro." She whispered. Black Plotmon followed her to the room.
"Go away." Akiuro whispered from a corner of the dark room.
Kat walked over. "You okay?"
"Why do you care?"
Kat sighed and sat down on the floor. "Akiuro, I don't hate you. I am glad you made the right choice, though."
"He'll kill my family."
"Yeah. He probably will."
"You have yours back, Kat." He whispered. "Mine won't come back."
"No. I don't think they will." She sighed sadly. "Anyway, I don't have all my family back yet. I'll never have them all back."
"Hunh?"
"My mother and grandparents. Demon's killed them by now, I'm sure. Mel isn't back yet, either."
"Oh. I'm sorry." Akiuro found himself sorry for his hard words.
"Don't be. I knew the consiquinces." She stood.
Akiuro grabbed her arm. "But you didn't have a choice."
Kat looked back at where Akiuro sat, seeing his tears in the dark. "No one has a choice, Akiuro. Fate knows to where she sends us. Only she has the choice."
"But, why is Demon here if she decides?"
"Demon's tricky. He's somehow found a way to cheat Fate, much as we have. But, in the end, Fate will give him what he's come for." She smiled softly, kindly. "Get some sleep. You look tired." She left.
Akiuro put his head in his head and cried. Black Plotmon sat in his lap. They fell asleep like that, a star in the heavens above them twinkling softly.

One down, five to go. *groans* Isn't this fun?!
Okay, I'm getting somewhere. I finally know what's going on again. {These new kids screwed this whole thing up. One'd think I'd know better than to bring more characters into all this mess.}
Ja ne!
Six new kids are born, Dark, called by name. Demon sends them out, to destroy, one by one, the six that have survived.
Now comes the day, our six must shine, and overpower them all. Evil shall fall, good shall gain, unless the Great One fails. Hurry up, Digikids...
