"I want them found!" They lost...

"He's looking for us." And they get another chance.

"They are no more than children!" He wants them dead...

"We are ageless." Just like the other Digidestined.

"One boy, five girls." They want to survive...

"We have to hide our computers, our rings, and our Digimon." Wants Freedom...

"The Digikids are still on the loose..." But Freedom is now gone.

"Chase them down!" They call themselves...

"We don't know where each other is going, or their name..." Watchers...

"Thirty-two died today..." Digimon Watchers.

"Start a rebellion, but keep it a secret." The worlds need to protect them...

"They must die!" But how do you protect your leader's enemies...

"We must live!" When anyone could be one of his men...

"Get her!" And they don't trust a soul...

"We'll meet again..." Not even each other.

"Demon has one Digikid..." One battle has been lost...

"We don't know anything..." Bringing on the war...

"Keep her alive, for now." That their enemy believes he's won.

"Don't go after another if they've been caught..." But he doesn't seem to understand...

"What's our first stop?" Kat asked the boy at her side.

"Alexandria." Amerigo replied.

"Okay." They found themselves outside a house.

A young girl, about twelve, stood before them. A Floramon stood next to her. She had very short brown hair and bright blue eyes. She wore jeans with fake red jewels up the sides, a purple T-shirt with orange writing on it, and a purple jacket. The words on the shirt were, "You say psycho like it's a bad thing", which made the two younger members laugh. "I figured you'd be here soon." The girl said.

"Name, age, Crest, if you have one, and your D-3 color." Kat said quickly.

"Adalia Flores, 12, Fortune, and black and white." Adalia replied.

"I like your shirt, Adalia." Amerigo said.

"Who are you guys?"

"Katrania Monrastrie, ageless, Light, Kindness, Life, Death, Darkness, and rainbow." Kat said.

"Amerigo Levi Leopold, 7, Faith, and red, white, and blue." Amerigo said.

"Oh. Okay." Adalia looked a little shocked.

Kat turned to Amerigo. "Where to next?"

"Another place in Alexandria." Amerigo replied.

"Who's next?" Adalia asked.

"We actually have two more in Alexandria. One on some side street of Duke St. Another just down that way." He said, pointing down the block.

"Let's walk. Amerigo." Kat said.

Amerigo nodded and led them down the street to another house. Kat knocked on the door. A boy opened it. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He looked about Kat's age, eighteen. He wore some old jeans, a black T-shirt, and a light brown jacket. "May I help you?"

A Candmon appeared beside him. Kat let out a painful cry and turned away. "That's the girl that needs our help, Kyle." The Candmon said.

Kyle stepped from the door and walked over to Kat. "What's wrong? Did Candmon scare you?"

Kat looked at him, tears streaking her pale face. "N-nai. It's just... One of my best friends had a Candmon. Seeing a Candmon just brought bad memories." She reasembled herself. "Name, age, Crest, if you have one, and your D-3 color."

"Kyle Ransy, 14, Humor, Gray. Are you sure you're alright?"

Kat smiled sadly. "I know I'm not okay, but there's nothing I can do about that at this very moment." She pulled out her computer. "Let's go." They disappeared.

And reappeared in front of a smaller house. A tall young lady with long blonde hair and blue eyes stood there. An Ongamon stood next to her. She wore jeans, a purple sweatshirt, and had a blue streak in her hair. She waved to Kyle. "Kyle! I didn't know you had a Digimon!"

"Err... I do. This is Candmon. Who do you have?"

"Ongamon." Kat broke in. ""Name, age, Crest, if you have one, and your D-3 color."

"Genevieve Lotinque, but my friends call me Genny, 14, Music, and purple." Genny said.

"Fine. I'm Kat, this is Amerigo, Adalia, and Kyle, who I'm sure you already know." She looked at Amerigo. "Where's the next closest place?"

"Someplace in Michigan." Kat nodded and they all disappeared into her computer.

They knocked on the door of the home they landed before. A young man brown hair, brown eyes, and in a towel opened the door. "How may I..." All but Kat were laughing. Kat was just trying to hide a smile.

"Do you need to change?" Kat asked.

The boy looked at the Digimon and nodded. "Come in. I'm guessing you're the one Demi Imperial Dramon spoke of. I'm Jon."

They walked in, the others stopping their laughter when Kat sent them an evil look. They all sat around in the main room. Kat pulled out her computer and turned it on, to see if Dai had written back.

Instead, Demon appeared on the screen. Kat screamed and jumped back, the computer falling to the ground. Katmon and Catmon hissed at it. Demon smiled his horrible smile. "Well, well. If it isn't Katrania, the little thief!"

"I'm not a thief, Demon! These belonged to my sister! You murdered her! Now, like last time, they belong to me!"

"Really. Are you refering to the time you killed Melanie through your own mistrust?"

"Stop it! You have no right to say her name!" Kat cried, placing her hands over her ears.

"You can't be rid of me so easily, Katrania. I'll always be in your head. You carry Darkness, remember. I am Darkness! I can reach you anytime I wish."

Kat fell to her knees, crying. "No, no, no... You lie... Leave me alone... Leave me... alone..."

"By the way, I have Rou. He isn't as strong as your sister, is he, Katrania? He'll tell where you all are. He'll tell me how to get to you." He burst out laughing.

Kat struggled to get to her feet, but failed. "You... liar..."

Suddenly Rou's face filled the screen. "Kat-chan! Help! Gomen nasai! You... your okasan is still alive, Kat-chan! She... She said she'd pray for us! G-gomen... I wish I could be there with you, to kill Him. G-gomen... Tell... Onesan... I... I love her! I love all of you! Don't give up!" Then a blade stabbed through his chest, and he fell, Demon laughing behind him.

"I asked him who he wanted to say good-bye to. He chose you, and really got himself killed. I would have let him live, too. Too bad."

"I'm glad... I'm glad he's dead. He's much better off that way..." Kat struggled to say.

"I'll kill you. I'll kill all of you! You can't hide for long, Katrania Maria Monrastrie!" Kat let out a scream and doubled over in pain as the screen went blank.

"Kat-chan!!" The two little cat-type Digimon cried.

"Kat?!" Amerigo asked and rushed to her side with the others they had picked up.

"I-I-I... I swear I will kill him! I swear!!" Kat cried and blacked out.

Kat was sleeping on a bed in Jon's house while the others sat around a table.

"By the way. I'm Jon Draco." Jon introduced himself.

"Amerigo Levi Leopold." Amerigo said.

"Adalia Flores." Adalia said, sipping tea Jon had made.

"Genevieve Lotinque, but everyone calls me Genny." Genny said.

"Kyle Ransy." Kyle mumbled.

"Daiho Iroi." Said a new voice behind them. A girl and a Mushmon stood there. "Where's Kat-chan?"

"Right here." Came Kat's voice from behind Dai. Dai looked at her and gasped at the condition Kat was in. Her eyes were drooping and there was a slash across her right cheek. Her hair fell to her sholders in a group of knots. Kat smiled sadly. "Do I really look that bad?"

"What the hell happened?!" Dai cried, rushing to her friend's side.

Kat gave out a painful laugh as Dai helped her to a seat. "It's funny, Demon visits me in my computer, calls me by name, and I faint. Then, I see him in my dreams, beating me up. When I woke up, I looked like this." Her blue eyes were almost white. "I feel like a newborn kitten. So weak..." She reached up and wiped a tear from Dai's face. "Why are you crying?"

"Kat-chan, you said Mel-chan's dead, right?"

"Hai, and..." Her voice fell to a whisper as she looked at the table. "And so is Rou..."

"Kami-sama! When?!"

"When He came on her computer." Amerigo spat.

"Hai, Demon... Call him Demon... He knows where we are, it doesn't matter..." Kat mumbled.

Dai burst into tears and smacked Kat. "Who are you, and what have you done to my onesan?! Where's Kat-chan?! Give her back Demon! Leave her alone!"

"Don't... hit... me... Iroi..." Kat whispered.

That's when Dai saw the Crest of Darkness hanging from Kat's neck. She pulled it off Kat's head and threw it to the ground. Then she stepped on it. It shattered into millions of pieces.

"NOOOOO!!!!" Kat cried and slipped from the chair to try and put the pieces together again.

Dai, Amerigo, Adalia, Jon, and Kyle pulled Kat from the broken glass on the ground as Genny swept it all up and threw it away. Dai looked Kat in the face. "Kat!" She shook the girl by the shoulders. "Kat! Snap out of it!"

Kat looked up at Dai. "Dai-chan... When did you... get... here...?" She slumped to the ground again.

Dai's tears turned to happy ones as she picked Kat up and put her on the couch. "Sleep well, onesan, and welcome back." She turned to the others. "Try and keep her out of trouble, if you can. I suggest a few of you finishing getting the others, and bringing them back here. I must go, I have news to deliver."

"Dai." Amerigo said. Dai looked at him. "Rou told Kat to tell his onesan he loves her. Can you do that for him?"

Dai smiled. "I will leave that for Kat-chan to say to Karai-chan." She shook her head. "Sayonara." Then she disappeared through her computer, Mushmon with her.

Amerigo turned to the others. "Who's staying, and who's going?"

"You mean to go?" Genny asked.

"I mean to do as Dai asked. If we go get the others, we'll be able to surprise Kat, only as long as someone stays here."

"I'll stay. It is, after all, my house." Jon said.

"I'll stay too." Adalia said. "It'll help if there's more than one here."

The others nodded and Amerigo turned to Kat's computer with a ring the same color as his D-3. "Then let's go! We have only two more 'Destined to pick up!" They were gone.

A young lady with brown hair with blue streaks, grey/blue eyes, and a Keramon came running towards them. "Hi, I'm Sapphire Knight, but call me Sapph. You look like you're in a hurry, so let's go!"

The group laughed. "I'm starting to like this group." Amerigo said, making them laugh even more. Then they left.

A new young woman stood before them. She had brown hair and greyish-blue/green eyes. A Butterflymon was resting on her shoulder. "Shall we go?" She said.

"And what's your name?" Amerigo asked.

"Oh! Caitlyn Sakura, but call me Kitty!" Kitty said.

The others nodded and they disappeared.

"That was fast." Kat said from the couch.

"You're up!" Amerigo said happily and gave her a hug.

Kat smiled. "You didn't think you were gonna lose me that easily, did you?"

Katmon and Catmon looked up from their positions on the arm of the couch. "She don't die too easily." Katmon said.

"Yeah. He's tried that a few times. It hasn't worked yet!" Catmon agreed.

Kat frowned and rubbed her cheek where a scratch she had recived in her sleep still stayed. "Please, don't mention Him around me for a while. I'd rather not remember, if you don't mind."

"So, are you feeling better now?" Genny asked.

"Yeah, and I'll be feeling even better when I learn names, ages, crests, and D-3 colors from those I've not already heard."

"Fine. Jon Draco, 19, Unity, and aqua." Jon called from the doorway. Adalia stood behind him. Both were carrying chips, soda, plates, and cups. They set the stuff on the table. "Eat." Jon ordered and sat in another chair.

Kat moved her feet so Amerigo could sit next to her and the others took food and seats on other chairs in the room or on the floor. "Sapphire Knight, but call me Sapph, 15, Honesty, and sapphire."

"Caitlyn Sakura, but call me Kitty..." The whole group burst out laughing as Katmon and Catmon jumped down into Kitty's lap.

"Katmon! Catmon! Get back up here!" Kat called. The two Digimon joined their friend and Kitty continued.

"15, Dreams, Lilac."

Kat nodded. "Well then, Kitty, Sapph, welcome to the team! I hope you enjoy becoming friends." She bowed her head. "Friendship is one thing that will always bind you together. Friendship may be the one thing that helps us beat..." She let her sentece trail off, not wanting to think about Demon again until she had to face him.

"Well then, let's all get to know each other better." Jon said through a mouthful of chips. The others laughed and the discussions began.
