A speeder is a small, engine or hand driven railway vehicle. In the past they where used for trackinspection, track mainte-nance and transporting small gangs of railwaymen. Sadly the era of the classic speeder is over now. Modern hyrail equipment is now used for these jobs. The old speeders are now only to be found on museum railways and in private collections.On this website I will try to give an immage of

This vehicle, named Valerie D, is normally stationed at the Kleinbahn Muhlenstroth. At the time the picture was taken. The vehicle was guest at the museumbrickworks in Lage (Germany)
