| Final Cut Pro is a nonlinear video editing software that could be described as Photoshop combined with IMovie. FCP is used by many professional companies such as ILM. Many effects can be used, including split and green screens, distortion and sound contortion. The video and sound layers can be combined and overlapped easily, but rendering a scene can take a long amount of time. FCP works well with Macintosh computers, but has a formatted program for PC's. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Final Cut Pro, although expensive, is much more of a creative program than IMovie or Adobe Premiere. There are options on there to create fisheye, transparancy, and roaming images that are not available on other editing programs. I have been able to create multiple projects from it, but it can take up an immense amount of space and time. The problem with some users is that they either mess too much with the image and distract the viewer from the purpose or message or that the user is inept, and the video comes out blunt and flat. When a scene doesn't have the right filter, I've been able to fix it in FCP without driving the wrong idea. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
