welcomed addition to my life. There were four girls when I got them, all PEW. Unfortunately two have since passed on. There was one special girl in the group, who has a crooked spine, and a strangely deformed foot. This one was named Gimpy. The remaining two live well in a nice wire cage. There's one who ALWAYS comes up to greet me at the front door, then one who's extremely skiddish and will continuously run on the wheel trying to get away (hehe). |

Feeder Babies: As of 2/11/04, there is only one left, Elfie, and he belongs to my brother. This mouse HAS to be 2 or older by now! He's always been a skiddish boy, and unfortunately shows his age quite well. Originally there were 14 altogether, but now there's only him left. One had cancer in the entire group, the other succumbed to respiratory illnesses. They were from an unplanned litter a coworker's daughter had. I took them in to find them good homes, but they all wound up with me anyway. |

Buffalo Bill: Buffalo Bill is a lab mouse from a university my step mother works at. She was doing an experiment with female lab mice (was harmless, it had to do with human interaction and intelligence) when I looked in there and saw a MALE! His ear was already pierced, and he had been handled so he was somewhat friendly. He warmed up to me fast, though, and would brux and groom himself in my hands. I took him because he'd have been used in horomonal studies instead if he was returned to the lab (which would have resulted in death). He's a sweet boy and he's named Buffalo Bill because.. well... he likes to chew off my dead skin and eat it *coughs*. |
