| Welcome to our Homepage! My name is Ellen Mass, and my husband, John Wildey, was born and raised in England. I was born in New Jersey to a military family, and joined the Navy myself after graduating from a Florida high school. I didn't really claim anywhere as home until I landed in Tucson, AZ in 1985 and fell in love with the desert. |

| I have always loved animals, and wanted to show and breed dogs. After a bout with cancer and other health complications, I could no longer show the big dogs. So my search was on for a small dog I could handle. Well, after much searching I discovered the Alaskan Klee Kai! Small, little coat care, no major health issues and they look like the husky (a favorite big dog!) I fell in love with this breed, and contacted Eileen Gregory. I was put on her waiting list, and I waited for my first pup to be born. |
| In the meantime, I met my husband-to-be, John, in an on-line RPG! We played and talked for hours online...good thing chat is free! Long distance calls to and from England are expensive! I then flew to England to meet him, and as they say, the rest is history. |
| While in England, I went to a dog show with him and saw the English Toy Spaniels (or King Charles Spaniels as they are called in Great Britain.) Needless to say, I fell in love, and had to have them too. When I dragged John back to the States with me, we brought three precious babies with us. |
| We now live in a small, rural community called Eloy, AZ on three acres. Our home is shared with (at the moment!) 6 English Toy Spaniels, 4 Alaskan Klee Kai, 1 rescued Italian Greyhound, 1 rescued German Shepherd, a darling little mutt, 7 Persians, 2 Exotic Shorthairs, 2 Selkirk Rexes, and my Kentucky mountain saddle horse named Banjo. Oh, and not to mention, three pot bellied pigs! Somewhere along the line, my interest in purebred cats was aroused, and with the help of my friend, Jenny Markey of Purrydaze Cattery, my own cattery was born. |
