Recipe for the Masses
Thin Mint Cookies
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Heat chocolate chips in either the microwave, or in a double boiler. When completely melted add a couple drops of the mint flavoring. Be careful not to add too much, it is a powerful flavoring. You can either spread the melted chocolate on the cookies, or you can dip the cookies into the chocolate.

House Part Trois
Several of the populace (TE's Nicholas & Sorcha, Lord Otik, Shadow Wolf, HE Meghan, Kovayu, Morgana, Sean, Justin Bob & Cherokee) spent a Saturday getting everything ready for this year's version of House.
The fabric for the walls was measured, cut & painted. The building itself was assembled so we could all get an idea of how big it was going to be.
There is still quite a lot of work left to be done, regarding the sewing & general assembly stuff, so if you have the time & the equipment & want to help, let HE Sorcha know, since she's still sewing garb, too.

Renne Faire Rules
If you intend to attend the Utah Midsummer Rennaisance Faire as a member of the Barony of Dragon Spyre, please read & remember the following rules:
1. If you are under 18, you must bring your own food & beverages. If you don't have food or beverages, you must bring money to buy your own. Do not ask us to feed you, we all have our own responsibilities to attend to.
2. You must be in Renaissance clothing. You are not playing Amtgard, you are providing color for a Renaissance Faire & must look the part. No jeans, no tennis shoes (or any other sport), no t-shirts. At the least you must have a tunic & pants & suitable shoes (or no shoes)
3. If you are under 18, a parent (or sibling etc.) will have to pick you up each day after closing. The only children who will be allowed to spend the night will be those staying with parents.
4. You must pick up your belongings on the final day that you plan to attend. If you will not be around at 6pm Saturday evening to help tear down & clean up, please remove your equipment & other belongings from our encampment before then. If you do not & they are still there when we tear down, they will either be thrown away or given to someone.

Rules Continued
5. Inappropriate public displays of affection will not be tolerated. A kiss or hug is just fine, but public make-out sessions, while fun, make us look like a
bunch of juveniles. Please consider your actions when in public, in garb and representing the Barony
6. Feast will occur on Friday night, as usual. It will be a potluck, but with a bit of a twist. Ladyship Raven & her consort will be providing roast turkey legs for the feast. The potluck part will be everything to go with them, like salads, veggies, desserts, drinks & so on. If you don't bring something, please don't plan on eating. It isn't fair to those of us who always bring items to share.

C.O.M.E.
Several of the populace recently attended the Cedar Outlands Medieval Experience to provide a little color & get out of the house for awhile.
While it was small, it's also just beginning & had a pretty fair showing of vendors & visitors walking around enjoying themselves.
A tourney was held on Wednesday & Thursday nights, for the children & great fun was had by all.
On Tuesday evening HE Nicholas was dragged, kicking (if not screaming) over to the treacherous "lake" for a thorough dunking. He briefly escaped & was recaptured, carried back, and thrown in. This was followed by the capture and dunking of Nimoway, HE Meghan & Kovayu.
There was more dunking on Thursday night, another on Friday afternoon & a public flogging as well.
All in all it was a fun time & the Barony wishes C.O.M.E. luck in the the future.
