Greetings fellow Spyrites!

Well, here it is half way through the reign, and I’m finally writing something. Fast approaching is the UMRF, so get your varies and ass-un-dry prepared. No garb, no play, no matter how hard you whine! Weapons restrictions will be enforced (Lord Troiya, GMR, will enforce the weapons rules), and we will be having our usual Friday Feast (at least I think so, Sorcha?). So be prepared! Ok, enough of that!

Salt Wars I was sooo very cool. River’s End Rocks beyond belief! I would have to say that any problems that occurred in the past are most definitely behind us, so much so as to be forgotten! The event had a very positive effect on our group, and that is we no longer feel alone! It energized us and made us want to start swinging foam again. His Grace Sir Michael, Shotgun of Smack…err Hammer Of God, gave us good advice, and listened to what we had to say. That, in and of itself, was worth the trip. Many things were worth the trip, to be honest, it got to the point where it was really all gravy, so much good stuff going on!

On the Bad Baron side, I did have a low blood sugar incident where I yelled at a young man (Zardon, I believe, who was playing Wizard). After eating, I realized I had done something, but was unaware of what. I apologized to the young man, and fervently hope that he continues what is sure to be remarkable success in this game we call Amtgard. I made certain that no fences were broken, and they weren’t.

Other than the Lack of sleep on the first night, (thank to her Excellency the balloon buster and her quietly spanking, posable, slurpable Wonder Boy) no complaints!

Again, River’s End rocks in an incredible way.

House Party needs to happen soon! We need to plan and build, so we know what we are taking and doing at Ren Faire.

We’ve been playing this game for 11 reigns. We are all still friends. I think this says one hell of a lot about us.

Greetings unto the Populace of the Barony of Dragon Spyre.

I am looking forward to the remainder of this reign & the opportunities it presents for fun & frolic. I have several ideas for our upcoming feasts & I'm hoping that you will enjoy them. I'm also looking for a Quest-master for the June & August feasts. If you're interested in this, please talk to me about it.

We have had a request for some nifty tunics in the Dragon Spyre colors (like those of the Shire of River's End) & I think it's a terrific idea. We'll need help getting the fabrics together & with the cutting & sewing, so if you can help out in any way, don't hestitate to offer (it'd be really nice to have them for Faire, so our warriors can all match during the processionals).
