Rules
1: Grouping is aloud
2: Minstrels, Horses, any means of travel even cross country is aloud.
3: First Riddle ONLY will be given to all at same time.
4: NOONE but those with who are deamed as riddle bearers are aloud to be Anon at anytime.
5: Give answers to riddles at your own risk
6: Teams are responsible for spliting the winnings, i will only hand out winnings to the person who drops the item on me.
7: Only one item per team.
8: Identification of Riddle bearers will be by the Color of cloak to be announced before start of race.
9: Only those at approved start locations will be aloud to participate.
10: The start time of the race will be recap of rules, when rules are finished i will check on who is still in transite. If noone is on way to a location then the race will start.
11: Once the first riddle is handed out i will not allow anymore to start the race.
12: All locations will be accessible to a level 1 so that anyone can win. Knowledge is what wins the race.
13: Due to lag issues and such, The FIRST person to drop the correct item on end person is the winner, thus 2 can arrive at a time but to make it fair the first item received if it is correct gets first, second one gets 2nd place and so on.
14: When chosing the item the person offering you the choice will determine as best they can on who gets choice first if two arrive at same time. But both will be given the riddle at same time so that the other may not be to far behind when they get their item.
Basic idea of how the race works.
There will be a series or riddles like the ones listed on this page, which we used on the first Dragon Run. There will be at least two locations from which you may start the race thus allowing all to pic where they think the best location is to start. Once the first riddle is given out its your job to figure it out then make for said location. At that location a new riddle is handed out to you via main chat so that only you and those who arrive with you will hear it thus keeping your advantage. At a certain step you will be presented with a riddle to chose a crafted item of which i will craft. The items you have to chose from will help to determine if your a winner or loser. The wrong item and you lose, the correct one and you win. There will be multiples of each item thus if we pay out 5 places, there will be 5 items identical that can win. The number of riddles to the end person is unknown. The total number of riddles however will be around 7-10 not including the item riddle. The first Dragon Run took a hour with 5 locations, and 2 starting points. My guild thot this was a blast and we hope it will be for you also.
