| Name: Yugo Mutou Title: King of Game The main character of the show. He is a student at high school who usaually hang out with his friend Joey / Tristan / and Tea. He is a nice little guy who who always stand up for his friend no matter what. His grandfather gave him the millenium puzzle, and by fate he was able to assemble the puzzle together and unlease the magic within. After defeating Seto Kaiba, The World Champion of Duel Monsters, He caught the eyes of Pegaus (creator of Duel Monsters) who lured him into a tournament at his Island by staealing his grandfather soul. To safe his grandfather Yugi is force to enter the tournament and make his way to Pegaus castle and face him in a final duel with yugi's soul and millenium on the line. |

| Name: Yami Yugi The Alter-ego of yugi, when yugi calls upon the power of his millenium puzzle, the spirit of the pharaoh comes forth to aid him during the duels. He is a dueling master with all the knowledge and stragety of the game. After facing Kaiba at the tower, he lost yugi's trust because he went against yugi's will. After a while he regain the trust of yugi again and was allowed to aid Yugi again during the Semi Final against Mai, and face Pegaus in the final duel. |
