I am DragonRider.
I enjoy many things, not the least of which is my solitude. I am an admirer of all things beautiful, both real and imaginary. I enjoy watching the sky at night, seeing the stars in their slow and neverending path across the heavens. I enjoy watching snow as it floats from it's unknown heights in the clouds to fall gently upon the ground at my feet, glittering in the sunlight for the few moments before that same source transforms it completely, destroying the magic. I enjoy watching roses, as they grow into fullness, then as their silky petals wither and wilt, only to come again next year. I enjoy watching dancers as they twirl across the stage in a world of their own, in a world in which I feel privileged to be abiding. I enjoy watching swans, gracefully skimming the surface of the water as their feet work unseen beneath them. I enjoy watching unicorns and fairies and dragons, all unknown to most in the world because of their surreal existence in an imaginary place that few people take the time to visit. I enjoy watching myself, as I grow and mature, becoming the person I am meant to be. |
