Brief History: When he was about 20, he was married to a girl named Miranda and fell madly in love. That girl died giving birth to their first child. The baby died with her. Marsibadd was so distraught that he sold his soul to Shakith, God of Chaos for the means and guidance to bring her back to life. Shakith told him about the Heartfire gem, which grants wishes while exacting a price from the wisher. The Heartfire gem, he was told, was being hidden by one of the First Races or the dragon-mages. The only way to acquire it was to wipe out the Races one by one in the search for the gem. Marsibadd promptly killed the king after becoming his closest advisor and, consequentally, heir and set about putting his plan to find the gem in motion. Little does he know that he is, in fact, carrying out Shakith's plan to bring Chaos to Tarin. Whew, what a mouthful. |
