I put this information on a separate
page, due to the personal nature of the subject. It is unfortunate that
adults are still squeamish and un-necessarily shameful about such normal
aspects of life.
Here is a product that I believe needs more public
awareness:

I want to help promote the use of these products because I
believe they will help with reducing waste and improving
convenience. If shame is a factor for the individual, how much
better it is to not have a purse full of tampons that come spilling-out when
you grab your keys, or have to make an inopportune purchase or face a smirking clerk. You get a pretty little fabric draw-string pocket to keep
it in.
It only has to be dealt with an average of 3 times
a day, instead of every time a person must use a restroom - very
handy! There is nothing to throw away and maintenance is
easy. If nothing more, it gives people another
choice. We can choose not to be under the thumb of marketing
(selling fear, shame and dependancy) and the wastefulness of consumerism. We can
choose when & where to attend to our hygiene.
A close friend of mine has also had great success with using these
products. We wished we'd known about these Cups
sooner. It would have made a big difference in the quality of our
lives.
