Erik was born in the evil and corrupt city of Cthol. His parents brought him up with the life of a soldier even though his father was a peasent. In Cthol it is said that if the king selects your child to be in his guard service it would bring bleasings to the parents. So they trained him from the age of eight. He was a natural and loved the hunt not of human but of animals. He could kill the fastest cheetah and the see the sneakiest tiger from fifty feet away. When he was twelve Ban Cthol the king selected him and he completed his training with killing humans. Ban used to tell him they were evil but in fact it was he who was evil. He became a Commander in the war against Strantol and killed dozens of civilians. Ever since then he hated his king for making him kill humans for it was like seeing death in the face every night and day but mostly at night.
After the war Stranians killed any Ctholian coming over the border, and Erik wanted so bad for them to forgive him for his sins, even death was better than living his life.
At twebty he was one of Ban's loyal assassins, and he was close enough to kill him. |
